All Roads Lead to Rome...

My Maria surprised me with a trip to Rome last week... We have been a couple for 20 years October 5th and my darling arranged a kid-free trip, just me and her!

We are on our way now and I think I'll even shut my cell phone off for a couple of days... It will be exciting to see Rome, been wanting to go there for quite some time...

See ya!

The Spirit of Prayer in Levanger!

And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication.
Zech 12:10a

I'm visiting Håkon Fagervik and their Prayer Center in Levanger, northern Norway this weekend... Lovely. Huge conference center with a sactuary that takes 650 people, personal prayer rooms, prayer towers for bigger gatherings, 24/7 prayer, Bible school and mission offices. People from all denominations come here just to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit... Håkon is a called man with a vision directly from God. He prays for businesses and they immidiatly increase their profits. Håkon prays for pastors and churches and their start to bloom and grow again after stagnation and being burned out... Thank You God for Håkon Fagervik!

I'm preaching four times at the Prayer Center this weekend, but I am learing so much and will bring many new impressions with me home...

Prayer Night # 2 will take place next Friday, October 1st at SOS Church. We believe in prayer and are focusing a lot on prayer this fall... We will start at 10pm and go on until 2am. Walter lead 70 wild prayer warriors in our first prayer night September 17th and I will lead this one next Friday! Come and pray with us even though you might not be a member of SOS Church! We love to spend time with God in prayer and believe in the Holy Spirit's undercurrent in the ministry... Miracles, financial miracles, favor and creativity is released when we pray!

My books are selling well this fall :)! I will soon publish my fourth book; A Public Spectacle in English, make sure to order it then!

See ya!

20 Years with Maria!

Maria and the kids....

I was greatly surprised by my darling on Wednesday! She came into SOS Mission Bible College with a huge bouqet of red roses and interupted me in my teaching... She held a speech, showed pictures of us when we were engaged, got married and ended by giving me a trip to Rome next week! 50 students, all the teachers and I cried... I promise you - there wasn't a dry eye in the room... I am soooo proud of my girl! She is the best! We are celebrating 20 years together October 5th!

I've taught, lead prayer and ridden my Harley Davidson this past week in Stockholm and now I'm on my way to Norway to preach... Parent-teacher conferences at my kids school and a thousand other every-day errands, but that's they way it usually is in September :).

More are signing up to be baptized and the church is growing powerfully again! Yes... I am happy! It's not only a positive confession, but for real... I am genuinly happy! SOS Church is born of God and my and the team's biggest joy!

Rome five days next week with my own girl! I love you Maria! Thank you! You are truly the best!

See ya!

Homework in the Kitchen

Last night I sat with my nine year old son, Adam and helped him with his homework, he's learning English. It's hard. Daddy has to call his US coworkers to ask how to spell certain words... :) Maybe I shouldn't have cut so many classes as I did ;). Adam had to run back and forth to the trashcan by the road for a totally neccessary oxygen addition at half time... He studied English for 1.5 hours... Respect.

The other day I helped my eleven year old daughter, Alicia with her math homework... How to solve the area of different figures and shapes...

One of the nice parts of being a local pastor is that I actually have time to sit down and help my kids with their homework and have a cup of coffee with my wife in everyday life... I could never do this during my 17 years as a travelling Evangelist... It's so great to be a pastor and a lot less demanding than being an Evangelist... Thank You Jesus a new time of team building, structures, organization, baptisms and counselling... Discipleship and building church in Stockholm has so many benefits... Thank You God for a new season in my life!

See ya!

Salvation and Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Bethany Church, Rakkestad...

I'm in Rakkestad, Norway this weekend, preaching four services at the Bethany Church... Sooo wonderful people, the pastors couple, Nils-Petter and Wenche are great hosts... Many have been saved and last night 15 people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and started to speak in tongues! I love to preach a simple Jesus-gospel and flow in the Holy Spirit... Love our neighboring country :).

I'm flying home now... Longing for SOS - I'll make it to the last minutes of our celebration if I go directly there when I arrive at the airport at 5pm... God has placed such a love for the church and the Stockholmers in my heart...

See ya!

The Work of the Holy Spirit!

Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord.

Acts 9:31

I never stop to fascinate over the work of the Spirit. When there is "self-go" in the churches, people are saved, baptized in water and in the Spirit and healed without any pressure or stress from the leaders, we know that we are in the middle of God's wonderful will... When financial miracles happen without manipulation or "help" from the leaders, but people are lead to give, the exact amount in the right time, then you know it's the work of the Spirit... We are experiencing all this in SOS right now, and many true tears of gratitude are often on our cheeks and we have a hard time talking because of this... God has touched my heart, not once, but many times this past year and the goodness of God, His faithfulness and love is poured over me.

As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul's heart, and all these signs were fulfilled that day.
1 Sam 10:9

My heart, and the hearts of my SOS coworkers are humbled, crushed and we become softer all the time. God's goodness and love drive out "besserwisser mentality," self-rightousness and brisk holier-than-thou mentality. Thank You God for the genuine work of the Holy Spirit in us all.

Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.
1 Sam 10:26

There are some men of God in Sweden that I love very deeply and often pray for nowadays. Not because of church political or strategic reasons, but because God has placed a special love in my heart for them...

I pray for Tommy Lilja in Sölvesborg! Tommy is a true role model in faith, boldness and conquering spirit!

Happy 50th birthday Tommy!

I pray for Pelle Hörnmark (Leader of The Pentecostal Free Churches)! Pelle has a heart of gold and shows true love!

Pelle Hörnmark...

I pray for Per-Johan Stenstrand in Västerås! Per-Johan is a great shepherd and church builder that I admire!

Well, well... Maybe it means something to you fellow warrior brothers to get a little encouragement from another, at this piont, pretty scarred warrior brother :).

I am in Norway preaching this weekend... Praying a lot for our festival in Haiti that starts October 6-10! God, give us 50,000 people in one festival meeting and 20,000 souls to salvation! Lord Jesus, lean down and kiss the city Port Au Prince... Come and bless the people with genuine healings and signs!

See ya!

Coffee and Miracle Stories...

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
Ps 86:10.

In the midst of a busy fall-kickoff with work almost 24/7 the last four weeks it's important to find the oasis... Little pauses right in every day stress. A miracle story and a cup of coffe is my favorite, takes about 15 minutes...

I sat with Israel yesterday, a wonderful Ethiopian, father of six and a faithful member of SOS Church... He treated with coffee and a couple of stories about a faithful God that perform miracles! It humbles me, I get the right focus and go back to work with a new wild love for Jesus on the inside...

I'm teaching at our Bible Schools in Stockholm, working with the Haiti festival and fly to Norway this weekend to preach...

This Friday we have the first prayer night of three this fall at SOS Church Stockholm... We need to pray a lot now... We start praying after SOS Youth at 10pm and until 2am! Welcome!

See ya!

The First Saturday Service was a Success!

Last night we had our first Saturday service at SOS Church - wow, it was great! Young Adults touch and many new people came... I loved all of it! One of our Ethiopian members brought some injera that we enjoyed after the service in the conference room!

It's Alicia's birthday today!!

When I came home last night my house was full of relatives - two of my sisters with families were visiting :)! Today it's my daughter Alicia's birthday and she is riding to church with daddy on the Harley! Sunday again - yeah! I love Sundays!

See ya!

Intense Days

We are working almost around the clock now... Sooo many newly saved and new members are coming to the church all the time... Conversations about baptism, questions about everything between heaven and earth, planning, preparing new messages and teaching sessions...

I am trying to get some workouts in as well and ride my motorbike as much as possible before fall comes for real... I'm pretty good shape now and my Harley works like clockwork :).

Alicia on my HD...

We are working intensly for the festival that takes place in Haiti in about a month...

The kids and I had a Bible study on the end times before they went to bed...

I've taught Faith two days at SOS Mission Bible College...

Today I preached about our top ten most important choices here on earth. To make the right decision, take control over and form your future is important... Life doesn't just happen, we choose life, direction and bright future! It's election times in Sweden, we are voting - for life!

See ya!

This Saturday at 4pm we kick off our first service all in English! We start having double services from this weekend, September 11-12!

The Saturday celebration will be a little more up-beat, Young Adults touch... There will be no kids ministry during this service though...

Sundays at 4pm will be more focused on family with kids ministry for ages 5-12 and childcare for kids under five years... Interpretation to Swedish and Spanish...

We are expanding powerfully! Thank you Jesus!

See ya!

Election Times in Sweden

The battle now stands between the alliance and the red-green parties - who will win and rule Sweden the next few years? Election times in Sweden again... I am praying for Stockholm and Sweden that the Christian values will win in our society! I think that Biblical ethics, moral and righteous godfearing values are the most important things to consider for a Christian when voting...

To vote with this in mind, instead of what's best for my personal wallet must be true Christian... It's still hard to know where to place your vote though, I know... One party can be in line with the Bible's teaching in gender equality, but way out in a moral or ethical question, or the other way around... One party can be value-liberal and fair but intead unfair and value-conservative from the Bible's point of view. It's not at all obvious where I, as a Christian should stand party-politically... Lord, help us in Sweden!

It's Sunday today! I am so looking forward to seeking God together with my siblings in the Church! We need to hear God's Word, listen and obey... We need to tune in together in humility and the Holy Spirit need to soften our hearts... We need to make the right choice, not only in the upcoming election, but in every test and question in life... Our inner voice determines... Holy Spirit gelp us!

See ya soon!

Follow-up, Signing Books and Soon Double Services!

Tomorrow it's Sunday again! I love Sundays! I am sooo looking forward to meet the church again and preach "Power Evangelism - part 2"... This Sunday will be the first one this fall that will be all about follow-up work and discipling of new believers... SOS is all about doing the Great Commission, discipling and how we can reach Stockholm and the unreached people groups... Everyone wins one every year!

My latest book; A Public Spectacle, will soon be translated and published in English...

Tomorrow I'll have a table set up in the café to sign my new book right after the celebration - fun! I already spoke to someone that read the book; A Public Spectacle - it was released only a week ago! The fast reader's response was that finally she understands what the Apostolic is and why SOS functions as it does!

The weekend of September 10-12 we will start having double celebrations at SOS Church. That is; services both on Saturday and Sunday at 4pm. All together we'll have 3 services every weekend, counting SOS Youth on Friday evenings! Our premises are about to explode with poeple and we have to create more opportunities just to fit! We have just bought 70 new chairs and have 270 chairs in our little auditorium and 70 in the café - 340 seats and the place is full... We need to start praying for a new place now! We'll move into something bigger next summer!

See ya soon!

We're out of Words :)

SOS Homecoming and SOS Church's One Year Anniversary can be summarized in one word; joy! This weekend we had four gatherings with over 2000 people altogether, and upon that two outdoor shows at Medborgarplatsen and Drottninggatan (central places in Stockholm)!

Sigfried Tomazsweski's message on Saturday night was a "love bomb" that detonated in the SOS family - thank you Holy Spirit!

The Sunday celebration at City Conference Center with world Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was a "joy bomb" and a miracle grenade during the altar ministry! Thank you dear Jesus!

About 1200 people came and celebrated together with us at CCC! Many precious stockholmers prayed a salvation prayer and so many were healed! About 10 people testified of immidiate healings in their bodies!

Jesus performing miracles...

When the SOS board had dinner together with Reinhard Bonnke and the CfaN team at the Sparreholms Castle late on Sunday night, many tears of gratitude came down our cheeks...

I am so thankful for all the prayer times, deep conversations and laughs with dad Bonnke in the Chevrolet to and from the castle where he and his team stayed during the weekend... I am especially hiding a specific prophecy in my heart that touched me deeply... Thank you Jesus!

The Sparreholm Castle...

Thank you Jesus that we were honored to have the man of God, Bonnke as guest in our church! Thank you Jesus for everything that we received from heaven!

Salvation invitation...
