Mircale Air!

Capernaum...

The mount where the Sermon of the Mount took place, the place where Peter met Jesus by the Genesareth Lake, Capernaum where Jesus lived as an adult etc... We are travelling from place to place by bus, walking, reading loud from our Bibles and we can almost see Jesus, His disciples, and feel the miracle-hunger from the crowd that gathered around the Messiah!

We are enjoying freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, talking and laughing with guides, chauffeurs and sellers... Hummus, pita bread and St Peters fish and all this surrounded by happy, sun tanned people who speak Hebrew and Arabic back and forth :). I love it! I'm home!

St Peters fish...

Jesus was a Jew and salvation comes from and through the Jewish people, to all humanities restoration! They are the root themselves and we are branches that are grafted into the Israeli oliv tree! We bless Isreal and the Jewish people! We pray for the Middle East!

Galillee in Northern Israel

My dad Ewald....

I'm together with my dear dad Ewald and his wife Anette travelling through Israel for ten days... My siblings and I gave dad a trip to Israel for his 60th birthday and we are finally here...

The Genesaret Lake...

We arrived yesterday, played cards after the Sabbath meal and the gathering with our group of 110 people... So good to work with Göran Duveskog and Daniel Viklund again - they are really people that I admire and love. Today we took a tour on the Genesaret Lake...

SOS Own International Web TV

Our TV show; God's Adventurer will now all be in English and on the internet so that we can reach as many people possible... Web TV is the future! Everything we do in SOS has an international touch, our English services in Stockholm city, our festival music, our books and pamphlets... Of course our TV ministry has to follow the rest of the ministry's globalization ;). Exciting!

We recorded three programs on Wednesday and I must say that I am very impressed by SOS TV Team! Especially by Daniel Elvelyck that is the cool host of the show... I am proud of you all!

The future is ours! :) The first show will soon be posted!

The Devil is Stressed

Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.
Rev 12:12

Our enemy is stressed. He is defeated, downgraded, a desperate enemy that hits everything in his way, and his clock is ticking. His work and dirty war is dated. The devil is on his way to his own trial and after the closing argument a sea of fire awaits. Yes... this should make him a very stressed out devil ;).

Stress does not suit a disciple of Jesus. Stress does not suit an ambassador for the Kingdom of God. Stress is unworthy. We live by faith (faith = safety and peace) believing in a good God. We are forgiven, our trials are over and we are righteous in Jesus' blood and victory on the cross! We are not stressed out, but continue to work strategically and purposefully to evangelize the world and disciple people. All people groups will hear! We have soon reached the goal and will complete the Great Comission. Jesus will soon return and we are glad!

Avoid stress! Stress is not spiritual, but soulish. Faith is not spelled constant cramping, pressure and stomach ache, but; rest, joy and reassurance. Here are some tips how to avoid stress in every day life;

1) Take a deep breath and whisper; Holy Spirit...
2) Look the person in the eye when you are talking to them...
3) Be present in everything that you do, do one thing at a time...
4) Have a cup of coffee (or a fruit) and enjoy life for 5 minutes with a good friend...
5) Have someone tell you a miracle story, or tell someone a God-story yourself...

Life is too short to "huff and puff" through. The people around you are worthy of your attention. Reflect and enjoy what God has already done in your life. Think of how beautiful the Himalayas acually are while you are climbling Mt Everest.

Values

According to Wikipedia a value can be either sociologically, psychologically or culturally based. A value is usually the result of a philosophical, religious, or economical study that has been thoroughly contemplated, all according to most definitions and analysis. Values are formed over long periods of time and then dictate our choices, priorities as well as our actions as we face tough decisions.

Personally, I have tried to base my values on the absolutes found in the Bible. Since the day I became a Christian there has been an ongoing radical value revolution in my mind and way of life. The sociological and cultural traditions in our nation truly need to change, be reformed and placed under the ethics, moral and philosophy of the Bible. The value reformation as well as the so necessary Christian cultural revolution are both most often set in motion through Bible based preaching, an outpouring of the Spirit and genuine revival movements!

An Apostolic and apologetic revolution in our nation is a must, but only as a result of a truly spiritual, genuine, and Jesus centered revival movement! The apologetic work without the Spirit of Life becomes legalistic and dry intellectual puffs of air. Repentance, salvation miracles, powerful baptisms in the Spirit and miracles for the entire family that then all lead to a radically changed way of life with the Law of the Spirit of Life as guide is something that we all should strive for and with all our might fight for.

A revival movement will generate temperance movements, new political parties, Christian media channels that are salt as well as news channels. Revival Christianity and the ministry of the Evangelist need to be marked up on the value tree because the simple gospel contains the dynamite power that can and will change people and a nation!

God give us a revival breakthrough in Sweden!

Building in Progress!

I love my pastoral team - we have met this past week for prayer and casting vision for the future... Amazing friends - Bible reading, open and straight correction, strong prayer, laughter and close friendships without secrets...

I believe that the most important parts of a successful church is;

1) A unified and tight leadership team.
2) Clear vision and clear sub targets.
3) The Spirit of prayer that inbeds everything.

It snowed in Stockholm today - the kids were overjoyed when I walked them to school this morning before I headed for the Metro station :). I've been teaching at the Leadership School today and had lunch with a hungry Jesus-disciple! On Sunday I meet my seeker friends again at SOS Church's celebration!

Our Bible Schools

I'm teaching at SOS Leadership School in Stockholm this week on the sunbejct; Ethics, Moral and Church Discipline. The Leadership School is SOS own pastoral education. Currently we have 5 Bible Schools over the world that have more of a discipleship training charachter, preparing for ministry on the mission field...

The Leadership School on the other hand is a super-serious forum where the students learn how to hold weddings, funerals, study homiletics and visit a mosque and synagogue...
The demands on the students are high and everyone is so motivated! So much fun!

Welcome to SOS Leadership School next year!

The Holy Spirit

I'm praying and fasting for our future right now... Blogging about it so that more people can seek God together with me...

The Holy Spirit is always there by my side, so close, whispering and guiding... He is so powerful, knows everything, full of love and active! He saves, baptizes in Holy Spirit, heals, encourages, builds, charges and brings life! He comforts and helps... Holy Spirit; nothing works without You, with You everything works. You are the oil that prevents squeking, the wind that drives me forward again and gives energy, You are the fire that makes me warm, wild and crazy!

I love You! I need You! I believe in Your work more than people's wisdom, talents and ideas. Show me how to prioritize, live my life, and overall; show me Jesus!

11,000 in Follow-Up Classes!

Salvation prayer in Nepal this spring...

2010 has been a fabulous year so far! SOS have done four festivals so far, planted new churches and right now there are more than 11,000 new believers in follow-up classes! Thank you Jesus!

Baptism at SOS Church this summer...

Salvation invitation in Haiti just a few days ago....

Before this year ends I will visit Israel, the US and Norway to preach, but right now I'm in Stockholm teaching at SOS Leadership School...

Good to continue living the life style I believe in;

1) A strong inner life (prayer, fasting and Bible meditation).
2) A winning outgoing life (meeting non Christian friends and discipling new believers).
3) A sound life (physical training, spending time with friends and family).

Dear friend, don't fall asleep by the steering wheel with the cruise control on, but continue to go to war, conquer and run forward! Put up new goals, sub-targets and cast vision about the future! Life is a precious gift!

Oh, How We Danced!

I now know the basic steps to Bachata! Fun! After the salvation invitation and healing prayer last night the crowd started dancing spontaneously. First Bachata, then Salsa freestyle :)!!! Everyone went crazy! We had a reason to celebrate too because some 600-800 people had responded to a very radical salvation prayer and loudly declared their healing miracles from stage! A total of 1800 people have been saved in Padre Las Casas these days!!! I love radical Jesus-centered revival Christianity that dances when there is a real reason! :)

I fly home to Stockholm today via the US! Tomorrow I will meet my family again! Maria, Alicia and Adam - I am soon home! On Sunday I'll get to hug the church and celebrate the victories on Haiti and on the DR with my best friends! SOS Church Stockholm - you are the best!

See ya soon!

From Hell to Heaven

Landed in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic Monday morning... Got a rental car and cruised together with my good friend Gerry Stoltzfoos along beaches, through rainforest mountains on small serpentine roads to Padre Las Casas for another miracle festival...

The same island, two countries, two languages, two cultures and at the moment the difference is like hell and heaven. I am describing the difference between Haiti and the DR. Haiti; after the earthquake is a dark devastated and extremly poor place on the earth, the DR on the other hand, is a super modern vacation paradise. It was actually a chock just arriving at the airport in Santa Domingo. Here they speak Spanish and not Creol, Latino culture and not Carribean and salsa, bachata rythms and dance... :)

Last night I spoke at Freedom Valley (one of our partner churches in the US) Gettysburg's festival together with their missionaries in Padre Las Casas. Wow! Fun! Happy people on a little stadion in the middle of the town that tried to teach me dance "bachata". It's a dance style that has become very popular here again because of the DR band; Aventura... Everyone dances bachata now... Hard, but fun ;).

About 500 responded to my salvation invitation last night and many, many were miraculously healed! I am very tired, but happy!

Many testified from stage how Jesus had healed them...

I have a lot of time to pray and whisper with the Holy Spirit in the mornings here... I enjoy it very much and it is so good for me to be in the presence of the Spirit. I need it more now than ever... I am preaching tonight again! Wonder what the Spirit will do?! Exciting!

I'm flying home tomorrow. Longing for Maria and the kids, and the church of course... They are in good hands though - my Assistant Pastors, Daniel Elvelyck, Emma Gustafsson and Julia Willkander takes good care of our new believers...

I'm hoping to see many of them on Sunday when I preach at home again!

See ya!

50,000 have Heard the Gospel!

Against all odds we held a festival in a city in ruins... There were no open spaces in the entire city such as parks, soccer fields etc since every open space now served as home for the hundreds of thousands homeless that now live in tents. The earthquake January 12th which destroyed the city measured 7.0 on the Richter scale and killed about 300,000 people. Therefore we got an open space in the UN's huge tent camp for 7,000 families 6.2 miles outside the city... Too far to walk and the UN forbid us to transport people from the city to the camp... We are now summarizing the victories from probably the most chaotic and poor city in the world at this time;

- Day 1 = 4,000 people at the festival...
- Day 2 = 7,000
- Day 3 = 10,000
- Day 4 = 12,000
- Day 5 = 15,000
- Outreaches = 2,000

All in all 50,000 people have heard the Gospel in the city!

Healing prayer last night...

- 3,200 happy newly saved filled in decision cards this past week!
- Deaf, blind, hearing- and vision imparied have been healed!
- Mass-baptism in the Holy Spirit and about 1,000 started speaking in tongues!
- Several were delivered from evil spirits!

- For the first time we set up our portable festival equipment that due to our sound techincian's estimations can easily reach a crowd of 100,000!

- We planted at least one new church in the tent camp and ordained the Pastor last night!

The follow up work begins today, we are invited to the Mayor who wants to thank us and talk about this event and maybe more in the future... We are donating clothes and school benches to the most poor places...

We have no voice left, we are happy and thankful to Jesus!

12,000 Dancing!

Healing explosion - many visually impaired and almost blind were healed last night! Hearing impaired and deaf ears were opened in the name of Jesus! Mass-baptism in the Holy Spirit and thousands of new believers speaking in tongues! It's pretty special to have a festival in the middle of the UN's tent camp :)! 12,000 danced last night!

Jesus healed this precious lady last night... Jul Rod had not been able to see on her left eye for 8 years, but last night Jesus gave her full vision and healed her shoulder at the same time!

Baptism in the Holy Spirit...

We are focusing and charging for the finale now and new church plants!

My Heart Breaks

Right in the center of the UN's tent camp our plattform is seen, with lights and soundsystem. Everyone sees it and it's like a magnet for people as soon as the sun sets and the music starts... Families, school classes, working collegues from all places arrive... They stand for hours. They sing, dance and sway to the reggae tunes... Their worship has a touch of Bob Marley, but anointed by the Holy Spirit and not rastafari... Kids, teenagers and senior citizens... Most of them have lost their entire family or parts of it... They are broken, marked, serious and cry easily... Just imagine to be here. Thank You God for a message of hope!

The 10,000 that came to festival yesterday did not want to stop dancing after the salvation invitation and healing prayer! They left when we turned the lights out... :) They steal and capture our hearts.

We are Planting Two New Churches!

I am in the midst of the festival-work in Port-au-Prince. A city in ruins. People in total despair without hope. Children have lost their parents, and parents their kids... People in chock that own nothing more than the clothes they are wearing, they wash up from a water-container behind the tent that they are borrowing... They own nothing. We meet pastors and churches that have lost their visions in the gigantic slum area of 3 million people. Just imagine, 300,000 people lost their lives in the earthquake. I have never met such grief, devastation and poverty on any of my trips around the world...

Right in the middle of the Un's big tent camp with more than 7,000 families, where we dance, sing and preach Jesus, HE performs miracles and precious people pray salvation prayers... Yesterday He opened a blind eye!

We are now working towards buying both land and temporary tent-churches here. We are casting vision of planting two new churches directly after the festival. We will donate school benches and clothes to the tent camp and the church planters will have the joy of distributing this!

Pray for Port-au-Prince! Pray for us!

First Festival Meeting with SOS Portable Festival Equipment!

And finally it stood there - in all its beauty . Our dear, so longed for festival equipment... SOS Crew set it up in just 20 hours! What heroes - I'm so impressed! Our own generator, scen area of 904 square feet, hight of the scen, 8.5 feet and hight of entire stage and rigg, 32 feet. Material for more than $606,000 + hundreds of thousands dollars in released engineering honorariums; altogether more than $900,000! God is good!

We have now inaugurated the stage with salvation prayers, deaf ears opened and tumours that dissapeared - a Jesus-Gospel only deserves the best, right?!

Salvation prayer...

Good Aftertaste and Festival Fever

What a weekend! I love the church! We prayed with 7 precious people to salvation at the celebration yesterday and many decided to join SOS Church at the new member meeting... Good aftertaste.

I've packed my bags now and are on my way to Haiti via the US... Meditating on the gospel of Mark and are whispering with the Holy Spirit...

I'm going with my soul in my hand, my heart trembling and praying that God will kiss this festival all wet! I'm not taking anything for granted anymore. Have been around too long. I feel scarred, broken and little. I know that the man in Christ is trong, mighty and always wins, but the man outside of Jesus does not mount to much... Help me to be in Christ Jesus Lord!

Pray for the people of Port au Prince! Pray for salvations and miracles! Pray for me that I will proclaim the Gospel with passion, worthiness and joy!

See ya!

Stockholm this Weekend and then Haiti on Monday!

It is so good to be home this weekend! I have just been to SOS Church and All Nations Café, tonight it was African theme... Life is going on full speed, I preach at SOS at 4pm tomorrow and on Monday I head off to Haiti and our so longed for first festival with our portable festival equipment! The festival starts on Wednesday!

The team of about 60 people are from both Sweden, Norway and three places in the US; Philadelphia, Modesto CA and Pittsburgh! We have a band coming from Modesto, they are really on the go and well prepared...

Two of the containers coming are filled with brand new sporting clothes that a business man from Norway donated, another is filled with school benches... It's so great to see Norwegians, Swedes and Americans standing together and working side by side as one team... Pray with us now! I am praying that we will have 50,000 people in one single festival meeting... God, give us salvation miracles and healings!

Hagin at the Spanish Steps...

Rome with Maria :). We rented motorcycles, have eaten delicious food, studied the old Colosseum, taken long walks, had lots of espresso and read a german novel by my favorite author; Konsalik...

Sat in the sun on the Spanish steps while Maria went shopping and read a book by Kenneth E Hagin - kan life be any better?! :)

Tonight I lead prayer at SOS Church between 10pm and 2am.

See ya soon!
