I am looking back at this weekend in Lakewood, NJ summarizing what's happened, and more than 200 people have run to front at the salvation invitations at the four services, isn't that great?! About 40 people have been baptized in the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues for the first time, and many are testifying of healing miracles in their bodies, wonderful, isn't it? There is nothing like the gospel of Jesus, the living Son of God!
It's been so great to get to know Jeff Deyo and his band and work together with them three sevices - such humble men of God, and what a servant's attitude! Jeff and his band will soon visit us at SOS Church Stockholm! God is good!
New Jersey is a dormitory suburb to New York City known for its high population of Jews. 65,000 orthodox Jews live just next door to the church... NJ have a lot of medicine industries and tomato and vegetable farms. NJ is beautiful with pine trees, lakes and the beach not far away... Living costs are expensive just like home in Stockholm and taxes are very high to be in the US. Otherwise NJ is known for the Italian Mafia (you've seen the God Father movies haven't you?!) and a lot of Gypsies from Romania! Need I say that I love NJ?! It's multiethnic with African Americans, Hispanics, Jews, Italians and Gypsies - I feel right at home here! I love the multicultural society and as you may know, is dreaming of building a a big international church in Stockholm - there was lots of inpiration for that here!
I'm soon going in to New York City with Lance and Rachel... Maybe I'll have time to buy a pair of jeans or shoes at a shopping mall as well before my plane takes off for Stockholm this afternoon!
