Faithful Partners and a Softtail!

I just finished a weekend of preaching in Bechtellsville outside of Philadelphia in southern PA. Peter Almqvist, a new American coworker, Mike and I have visited Morningstar Fellowship, who have been faithful partners to SOS many years already. Over 100 precious Americans have been saved in four services and  many have been healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit! Lovely weekend!

Morningstar is drilling wells in the Tanga-region in Tanzania right now in cooperation with SOS, and they are also sending a small team to our festival there in July. They are fantastic faithful mission partners and took up extra offerings to our missions work in every service, thank you to my friends; Pastor Steve and Liz Defrain! We love you! We never want to take your love for granted...

We ended the weekend by driving motor cycles together in the pre-summer bloom tonight... They had rented a orange-red Harley Davidson Softtail for me :). Mmmmmm ahhh is all I'm saying. I love life! :) We were about 40 bikers that rode together, so much fun! :)

Tomorrow I'm heading to Pittsburgh...

Two Trucks and Two Loudspeaker Towers!

I'm packing two bags in the living room, on my way to the US... Flying out tomorrow around 10 am, but tonight I am meeting with a new believer, a dear friend, and I am hoping and believing that he will be baptized in Holy Spirit and fire...

Yesterday our Finance Department called and said that we just received a gift of $75,000 to our festival and missions work! Thank you Jesus! Some of my blog readers might think that it is a lot of money... Yes and no... We are sooo thankful for every cent that comes in from faithful mission partners and do not take anything for granted. But...

The Holy Spirit has challenged me to expand our portable festival equipment. We must dare and we must believe... The Holy Spirit said: "Build for a crowd capacity of 500,000!" Today we have the capacity to reach a little more than 100,000 people in one festival meeting. Listen and read carefully now! In order for us to gather half a million in one single service we need to build two new loudspeaker towers, 43 feet tall, and buy another big screen, 30 x 36 feet! And we also need another container and two trucks!

This will cost around $1,500,000! We believe in God! The doors are wide open to many nations! We must proceed! Pray with me!

Three Things from the Prophet

I am so thankful for #Mission13.

The Spirit of Jesus chose and called 8 missionaries to our new base in Beirut, Lebanon. They are leaving in January 2014.

The Kvist family, base leaders at SOS Beirut

Faith was released through God's own servant Bishop Wilfred Lai from Mombasa, Kenya and the Persian evangelist Reza Safa! We received precious prophetic words.

The eagerness, willingness to give and creativity of the church had no limits this weekend! Special thanks to our conference-generals Ante and Maria Evermin, our Fine Arts Pastor Julia Willkander and our decorator Hanna Hamrén!

Maria and Ante Evermin; our Conference Generals for #Mission13!

The spirit of prayer was stronger than ever!

We raised A LOT of money for our festivals in Tanzania and Pakistan :)!

We can just say; THANK YOU JESUS!

I'm sitting in the woods with my German shepherd, the sun's shining, drinking coffee and eating sandwiches... Meditating on the words of the prophet Isaiah:

“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
    says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
    they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
    they shall be like wool.
If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the good things of the land...
Is 1:18-19

1) Purity
2) Obedience
3) Willingness

Holy Decisions and Good Habits!

1) In our family we have decided that Sunday is a holy day... Sunday is the highlight of the week and a feast! Sunday is the day we praise, thank and honor our God and listen to His Word and His voice! It's the day when we go to church together and meet our large family and spend time with our best friends! Everyone has to come! There is no gathering that can replace Sunday service, not the youth meeting, outreach with the Bible School, house church gathering or anything else "spiritual"... People living with you, teenagers, the dog and the cat, everyone has to come ;)! That's just the way it is!

Sunday is a holy, lovely and wonderful day! Our motto in our family is; we love Sundays! :)

2) Another principle that we practice is tithing; i.e 10% of all income goes to the church. Tithe on your allowance, the $75 you get from grandpa every month etc... You don't "tithe" in all directions, to friends and stuff that you feel passionate about for the moment, but you give your tithes to the CHURCH, "the store house" (Mal 3:10). Then blessings will pour over you for real! I tithe, give 10% of what I earn to the church, the local church where I have my home, my base, where I eat, drink and are encouraged.

3) One missions trip with the family each year! I want my entire family to do the Great Commission together and to see signs and wonders among the unreached people groups...

4) We always eat one meal together every day. As far as it's possible we try to gather everyone at least once around the dinner table... We talk, laugh, listen and share life. Such a precious time! I would never want to be without it... It's a perfect time to open a Bible (that should always be close by) together, read a passage and pray!

Make holy decisions and establish good habits in your family, it will lead to generational blessings in many generations after you... The Amritzer family is far from perfect, but we try to build something beautiful that the kids will inherit when they move out of the nest. You should try this too! God will be with you!
