The Work of the Spirit!

Leading prayer and teaching our students here in Stockholm... Teaching on the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit a couple of days. The wonderful effects of grace as the Greek language says... The church is built through the wonderful understream of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the actual heart beat and pulse in a true New Testament church.

My dear Stockholm...


Without the Spirit we'll just be a coalition, a club or at best, a company... With the Holy Spirit, we are the church of the Living God. We are the body of Jesus, resurrected and busy in the midst of society! We are naturally supernatural. We are the tongue, hands and feet of Jesus in Stockholm and the nations...

California

I have preached three services this weekend in Modesto California... Fantastic! Many saved and healed! Last night I preached as well and today I am flying home to Sweden again.

I'm visiting good friends and one of SOS partner churches since many years; Calvary Temple Worship Center... They gather between 8,000-9,000 people in their services every week! A strong mega church that just grows stronger all the time... I am filled with faith for the future when I'm here! Right now they are building a kids church; Kids Space, for about 5.2 million dollars! Incredible! Talk about investing in the next generation!

We will do this in Sweden in a few years! I want to believe God to raise up several mega churches in large cities like Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö in our life time!

Yesterday my good friend Michael Williams took me bass-fishing in the morning; what a great experience!

So, Everything didn't Quite Turn Out the Way You Thought?

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

Job 42:10

An old Swedish hit song goes; "That's just life, so much betrayal lives here"... Don't become cynical, hard and occupied with yourself. Life seldom turn out the way you thought it would my friend; it often turns out to be better :)!

The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.

My life turned out better than I could ever imagine :).

Sitting on the concrete stairs outside a guest house in Pittsburgh in the evening sun, coffee cup in my hand... I'm teaching "Ever Increasing Faith" at MCM Ministry School, the school we run here in the US together with APC. Thinking of hunting, traps and weapons. Would like to do a hunting trip with my dad; Alaska, Romania or South Africa? Grizzly, Gems or Kudu? Well... We'll see...

Borrowed a Harley the other day and drove two hours on winding roads through sunny "springy" Pennsylvania. Thinking of all the beautiful memories, all the faithful and happy people I've met so far in my life... The sun is warming my face, coffee tastes so good and I took a 1 hour nap this afternoon; thank you Jesus!

Enjoyed a 36 ounce steak in the sunshine :)...

Imagine, I am hardly half way... Will turn 39 this summer. So much left! Unreached people groups awaits, festivals with 100,000 people, new church plants and books to be written. Adventures with my kids and my dear team all over the world! I am planning on becoming very old and be incredibly healthy at 80 years of age, and between 80-120 I will have 40 years just to enjoy life!

God Did It!

So, finally SOS is established in Central Europe and beautiful Switzerland! SOS Church Bienne was launched on Sunday night! Packed out house, sweaty in new facilities! Success! Wow! Break dance and victory in the air! About 200 people came to celebrate! Many responded to the salvation invitation!

A girl that was severly hearing impaired was healed! She lost her hearing dur to an overdose  of drugs but took out her hearing aids and could hear whispers after prayer in the name of Jesus! She didn't want to stop crying, hug or thank Jesus!

We enjoyed cheese, chocolate and other Swiss specialties as we were celebrating!

Last night I landed in Pittsburgh!

SOS Church Bienne

I just landed in Switzerland after a wonderful prayer night in Stockholm... We were a little more than 120 wild prayer warriors that sought God's will and cried out to heaven for our capital :).

On Sunday SOS Church Stockholm will launch its first daughter church in the little town Bienne right in the Swiss alps! Together with about 100 Swiss people and former students from SOS Mission Bible College that are now the pastors of the church, SOS Church Bienne will see the light of day! So fun and exciting! We believe in multiplication in Central and Southern Europe! SOS is expanding and the Kingdom of God conquering new ground! Europe shall be saved!

Prayer Night!

Tomorrow it's time for another prayer night! The church is in such an exciting season! God is granting us favor, He gives us miracles, He gives us joy in life!

Come pray with us tomorrow! We are praying for new facilities, SOS Church is growing! We are praying for our Signs & Wonders Festival in Tanzania in June! We are going with a huge team from Sweden, Norway and the US to preach Jesus in Dar Es Salaam!

The prayer night starts at 10 pm and ends at 2 am, I love when the church gathers to pray!

Stockholm

After a wonderful vacation and visiting two churches in Florida, USA we are on our way home… Maria and I are happy, rested and so in love.

Everything is exciting. We are breathing new air. We are on our way into a new era. It's very obvious. Battle. Favor. Miracles.

Stockholm; the capital Jesus so clearly called us to. Our love for the city just grows and our hearts are bleeding for all those who does not have their priest, their spiritual home and their own church to go to when life is rough. 

We are praying for all those who so desperately need the protection that a church provides! We are thinking of all the homeless in the city, all the refugees and alone and lost youths. Lord Jesus, give us Stockholm!

Victory@Sarasota

I'm preaching at my friend, Brian Gibbs' church tonight in vacation paradise Sarasota… On Sunday I preach two services at my mentor, Ron Johnson's church in Orlando… Looking forward to this weekend; the Holy Spirit will surprise, He always does :)!

I miss SOS Church and Stockholm a lot, but Maria and I really needed this little vacation… We are so in love and full of energy now!

Harley Vacation at Key West

Having a mini vacation with my Maria and best friends since sooo many years; Martina and Peter Almqvist! We have babysitters for our kids and we miss the kids constantly…

Yesterday we drove through the National Park Everglades at the legendary 'Alligator Ally'… We saw several huge beasts along the way :)…

Today we have driven through many islands and bridges from the southern tip of Florida right out into the Carribbean… We are actually just 12 Swedish miles from Cuba. We are staying at Days Inn and have just come back from dinner. What kind of motorcycles are you driving? I knew you would ask ;)…

The Almqvists are driving a black Road King, 1900 cc, 2007…

We are driving a blue Heritage Softail, 1900 cc, 2009…

SOS Church Looking at New Facilities!

SOS Church is growing! Expanding! Thank you Jesus! We are living the Book of Acts right downtown Stockholm :)!

The entire church is welcome to 'Open House' this Thursday at the Salem Church on 'Söder.' We are right now looking at new facilities and this building is one of them.

We have access to the building at 7 pm and SOS Church will get a tour of the place. Welcome to Folkungagatan 90, right on 'Söder!'

If you are coming on the metro train, get off at Södra Station, if by the subway, get off at Medborgarplatsen.

Seminar Cancelled

The seminar 'God Wants to Make You Rich' is cancelled tomorrow, Saturday! We will reschedule though. Take the opportunity to spend time with your non-Christian neighbors, your friends, disciples and family instead :).

Practical and Concrete Miracles!

The company of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.

2 Kings 6:1

Right now we are praying, as a church, for God to do very practical and concrete miracles for us... We are overcrowded. We need more space. We need larger premises... Our sanctuary is too small. Both the nursery and Kids Church need more room. Our café is too little and we need more offices, storage and restrooms... Everything is growing! We are expanding powerfully! We have growing-pains, a luxurious problem you could say...

The Prophet Elisha and his disciples went to the Jordan River to get lumber to build new and larger... They borrowed an ax, yes, probably several different tools. An ax was dropped in the river and the prophet thew a piece of wood into the water and made the ax float up to surface... A practical miracle during the ongoing work and expansion... The finger of God. God's building. He says; I'm doing this, not you. You are working, think you're so smart, but without me you would have lost what you borrowed... What they borrowed was returned to them! Problem solved! Wow! God, we are also waiting on Your miracles and Your surprises! God, do what only You can do in the lovely way You do it! SOS belongs to You! SOS is Yours! The church belongs to You! We don't know how to do this, but You are God!
