Revived vision!

Abram was about to give up. The promise from God never seemed to become a reality. Childless, old, impotent and his wife Sarah long time past her menopause… Abram already had a B-plan. Instead of the son that heaven had promised, Eliezer would be the heir (a foster son and faithful servant)… Then God shows up for a visit…

After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”
But Abram said, “Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”
Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Gen. 15:1-5

The vision is not only revived, it is even expanded! Abram learns once and for all that everything will be the way God has said and keeps saying as long as Abram holds on to the promise and the original vision.
Come out under the stars instead! Come out, lift your gaze, count and allow yourself to be overwhelmed by everything a good God wants to give you if you only dare to believe! Don’t settle for second best! Throw the B-plans in the trash! Believe! See clearly! God is good!

Tomorrow Peter and I are traveling to
Ohio in a fun rental car to preach at Victory Christian Center this weekend!

See ya!
