Finally Time for #Mission16!

Spring has finally sprung, and with that, so has our annual missions conference #Mission16! We are celebrating a little extra this year since it's Mission SOS' 20th anniversary! Johannes started preaching in 1991, but SOS was started 1996, when we had been married for two years. Can you believe that we have been preaching the gospel among the unreached for 20 amazing years?! Wow, how many adventures it has been and more than 600 SOS churches that have been planted! More than 2,000 team-missionaries have been with us on our festivals these years and around 140 full time missionaries have been sent out to plant churches. More than 1 million precious people have given their lives to Jesus and hundreds of thousands have been healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit!

May 6-8 we will celebrate these 20 years of mission and pioneer work in the nations, and it will really only be a party if you are there. We want to honor all that God has done and give Jesus all the glory for all the miracles we have seen. It would be our greatest joy if you want to come and celebrate with us in real life! many of our best friends around the world will be there to congratulate, speak, inspire and just celebrate with us. Theme for this party is: Tools for Urban Mission!

Our vision for the future is to reach the mega cities and the young urban generation  with the gospel of Jesus and we want to learn how we can do this better.

Chris Gilkey from Austin Texas will teach on "“How to plant church in an urban culture”.

Glorious and Josephine Shoo from Tanzania will share of their huge experience of working with children and how kids can encounter God and experience the Holy Spirit.

Phillip and Destiny deas from Shreveport, Louisiana will teach on how to combine business and ministry in a holistic Apostolic vision.

Huruma and Joyce N'kone from Dar es Salaam will inspire us on how to reach the young adults at our universities and colleges.

Paul and Kim Owens from Phoenix, Arizona are coming to give us structures and models for discipleship and better follow up work and to lead us in prayer.

Per-Olof Eurell from Märsta, Sweden will speak to our business people and business people to be from his new book: With Jesus at your Work Place.

Prayer sessions will be layered with practical sessions full of facts, then creative evening celebrations with focus on the Great Commission. An exciting weekend in a beautiful spring Stockholm awaits! Welcome to Stockholm to receive from heaven and to bring new tools with you home for the mission!
