The spirit of the holy gods...

After a great prayer weekend with our SOS people in Stockholm and a lovely visit at our allies,  The Södermalm Church, I am working on some administrative things and meetings... Every time I pray and open my Bible the perfume from the weekend kinda lingers in the air… Since today is day 17 of our 40 day fast and I can use all the meal times for Bible meditation and prayer I have more time to reflect than usual…

King Nebuchadnezzar said about Daniel the prophet that ”the spirit of the holy gods” is in you (Dan 4:8). The king who worshiped idols didn’t know how to express himself properly, but felt something that he just tried to find words for… The King knew by instinct that the Spirit in the prophet was both stronger and wiser than the demons in all the fortune tellers, astrologers and exorcists of the royal courts…

When I meet Pastor Lennart and Carolina Torebring and some of their leaders at the Södermalm Church I meet a group that belong to the brave “seven thousand that have not bowed down to Baal” (1 Kings 19:18). They are heroes that have chosen not to compromise with the faithless spirit of Sweden. Maria and I are so thankful and moved to tears that there are leaders in Sweden who courageously that pray in tongues without shame and battle in prayer for our capital city Stockholm! Leaders who truly understand the importance of true salvation with repentance, the power of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, and that still cast out demons! Leaders with the spirit of Joshua and Caleb! Warriors and pioneers who dare go before us and everyone else! Way to go Södermalm Church! Way to go Torebring family and your faithful team!

On Sunday Sofia Munoz (daughter to the Torebrings) and one of the pastors of the Södermalm Church, will visit SOS Church Stockholm! Don’t miss this! She will speak about the next generation and how God uses children and the youth. It will be a party at Norra Latin this Sunday and crazy fun. Welcome!
