Let the Bible Speak for Itself

I am preparing Bible studies (digging deep) for several new series at SOS Church Stockholm... Now you will be able to, in addition to what you listen to at the Sunday Celebrations, dig deep in the scriptures and themes/series that we are in, together with me and the pastors of our church. We are choosing to not interpret or explain these texts so much, but instead let the Bible speak for itself. Here are a few examples:

Five questions or keys to better understand and unlock the gospel of John

John Ryland's papyrus from 1935...

A little papyrus with 30 Greek words were found in the Egyptian sand in the early 30:s. It was an early reprint of a reprint and a piece from Johns gospel and the handwriting has been dated to 125-150 and contains John 18:31-33, 37-38.



Date and Author: The gospel of John was probably written in Ephesus aprox year 90-100 by the youngest disciple of Jesus named John.

Receivers and purpose: Jews and Gentiles. Written for the purpose of evangelism and salvation.
