Reflections in Stockholm

Sitting in my kitchen in Tullinge again... Reading the Metro paper on Maria's iPad, updating myself on the last week's news since I couldn't get online as much in Pakistan...

- Our government is fulfilling more of their promises to lower taxes (sales tax at restaurants and retirement taxes) and our unemployment numbers are doing down towards 5% - hallelujah, our Sweden is doing better!
- The commotion in the Arab world continues, nation after nation... Violent demonstrations in Yemen right now with many casualties. The just recent resigned president of Egypt is in custody during investigation about corruption etc.
- Top meeting in Qatar, reports from Minsk, Belarus about the bombings, the nuclear disaster in Japan etc...

Yes, our world is bleeding, the signs of the Bible are so clear and the SOS-signals reach us from North Africa, the Middle East and the thousands of people groups of Asia! We must preach the gospel about forgiveness, Holy Spirit and restoration through Jesus' death and resurrection with greater passion than ever; both in Stockholm and to the ends of the earth!

Great to be home again and recharge for new assignments... Already longing for our celebration at SOS Church Stockholm on Sunday when we'll celebrate the victories in Pakistan together and baptize newly saved Stockholmers again!

SOS' heroes of the week;

Kennet Thorsland with family...

Peter Almqvist...

Ps. Peter Almqvist and Kennet Thorsland are the heroes of the week. Without their efforts we had never been able to preach to more than 110,000 people and pray with more than 17,000 people to salvation in Sialkot in three days! Thank you so much faithful coworkers!!

See ya!
