Faith for a Capital City!

By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, by the going round them seven days.
Heb 11:30

We are starting our huge African tour with a festival in Lusaka, Zambia June 3-7. 54 capital cities awaits! Capital after capital will be visited and the gospel proclaimed. Mighty cities with a young, strong population who are seeking direction and purpose and that has a bright future! You can see the African "spring time signs" both spiritually and physically. The young urban Africa is being educated, start businesses and constantly create new trends. The fight for the future of the teens and the young adults is definitely spiritual (Eph 6:12). A fight against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness. Will the young urban African population become consumed by status or titles, or will they become Apostles, Evangelists and Missionaries?!

Our faith in Jesus' victory defeats the devil! Spiritual walls must fall just like the walls of Jericho once fell because of Joshua's army. Witchcraft, tribal or race disputes and corruption will be exchanged for the Holy Spirit, love, unity and real sincere integrity.

The calling and vision of the African Capital City Tour (ACCT) is born of God, and not people. This is our belief. The vision is bigger than us. This is Jesus' own vision. It belongs to Him.

... for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:4

Jesus revealed Himself to me When we were in Moshi, Tanzania in November 2013, and told me:

"Preach a supernatural gospel in every African capital city and teach the next generation to listen to the Holy Spirit and walk in signs and wonders. The young urban Africa will finish the Great Commission and take the Kingdom of God to every tribe on their continent and then to the ends of the earth. Nothing can stop them! Help them! Mobilize them! Show them the way! Do you hear them crying out?!"

The calling is holy and the job clear! We are walking across the Red Sea in raw faith now (Heb 11:29). We know that this is only possible for a chosen people and on a word from the Spirit! Trembling we say that we believe that we are both chosen and called to go!

We are fasting, praying, preparing large teams for this trip right now. Preparations are in full swing both in Lusaka, Zambia and Dodoma, Tanzania as I write.

God will either make a way through a stormy sea, or we will drown. Either the walls fall for our war cry and trumpets, or we will die in battle (Jos 6:20). We believe that God will give us Lusaka. We walk quietly and determined (Jos 6:10). We walk in faith. We are saving us and our strength for the battle. Soon we fight... Not yet, but soon...

Win or die. Hopefully our victory march starts here. We don't know of anything in between. We will give it all. Invest everything. It's about life, the next generation and the future of Africa!

Pray for us!

Bible Study of the Book of Acts

We are studying the Book of Acts together with the whole church this month. I've preached twice on this theme now and have studied this theme deeper. Here is a Bible study for those who want to dig deeper. Enjoy!

Five questions or keys to better understand and unlock the Book of Acts

Introduction: The Book of Acts is the earliest Christian church history that exists.

Date and author: The Book of Acts was written by Doctor Luke approximately 75 AD. Luke is also the author of the gospel that carries his name. He was a travel companion of the Apostle Paul for a while and has been an eyewitness to many of the stories told in the book (Acts 16:10-17, 20:5-16, 21:1-18, 27:1-28:16). Luke is also telling the story of Paul, Philip, Barnabas, James the brother of the Lord and Mark.

Receiver and purpose: Luke writes to Theophilus, a high ranking Roman official, to inform him how the gospel has spread from Jerusalem to Rome and beyond, and how it has influenced the entire Roman Empire. This is the joyful and earliest missions history we have.
