A Store House For All People!

One of the many things that the Holy Spirit whispered to me when we planted SOS Church Stockholm in our beautiful capital city 2009 was:

"Build a store house for all people."

On Saturday this Apostolic church-building continues with our third seminar on Biblical finances: "God Wants to Make You Rich - part 3"... We start at 10:30 am, after a nice morning where you can sleep in, eat lunch together at 12:30 pm and then end the day with Q&A at around 3 pm. We meet in our facilities on Warfvinges Väg 26 in Stadshagen.

This weekend is special in many ways, I release my fifth book; "The Best Family in the World" and will be signing books on both Saturday and Sunday. This book is a compilation of the three seminars I've had om marriage and family in the church. I am praying that it will become a best seller that will maximize families and create soundness and an exciting future for the reader. The family really is our greatest joy and amount of trust!

We have two guests of honor at our celebration on Sunday (4 pm at Norra Latin, Drottninggatan 71B): Pelle Hörnmark and Marie Nylén. Pelle is dear friend of mine sine many years and he has the biggest heart in the world. He has worked as a missionary in Ethiopia and led a large successful church in Jönköping many years. Today he is "Daddy Pentecost" with all of Sweden and travels and inspires leaders. Pelle is now coming with a message to Stockholm and we believe that many will be saved and drink of the Holy Spirit this Sunday! Bring your friends who normally do not go to church! Pelle loves Jesus and preaches a clear cross-focused gospel and releases fire and power for freedom. We are praying for a bolt of lightning!
Marie Nylén leads the organization "Living Families" who helps couples in crisis and shields and strengthens families in Scandinavia. Marie is so wonderfully down to earth, practical in her counselling, but she also has a joy for life and is such a people person that it is contagious. You just feel good when you've gotten a dose of Marie Nylén!

Welcome to SOS Church Stockholm! We are having a party this weekend!

See ya!

The Holy and High Way!

I am meeting covenant friends for prayer and strategic conversations on a short visit in Dallas Texas a few days... I will compile some reflections from my own prayer life these last weeks. Maybe it could boost your prayer life as well.

“We will travel along the King’s Highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory.”
Num 20:17b

I am praying that the Holy Spirit will lead me so that I will always travel on the “Kings Highway.”

And a highway will be there;
    it will be called the Way of Holiness;
    it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
    wicked fools will not go about on it.
Is 35:8

A Christian can travel on different roads in his way to heaven. Isaiah speaks of the “the Way of Holiness” and Jesus teaches us about “the Narrow Way” (Matt 7:14). We make choices all the time in life. We choose between the higher or lower road. None of the roads are sinful, but the higher one though is better than the lower. Those who choose to travel the higher road will be used by God in a totally different way than those who do not choose it.

If God tells us to bless someone financially, we can do it sparsely or generously. When God tells us to reconcile with someone we can choose to blurt out “I apologize” or we can cry and from the bottom of our hearts ask for forgiveness. The one who drinks alcohol is not sinning as long as he does not become drunk, but the higher way is to not drink at all in love and respect for those who are weak.The one who smokes is not less Christian than the one who doesn't. But the higher life is to not smoke both to be healthy but also to take care of the temple of the Spirit. To swear must not necessarily be a sin, but the higher way is to speak pure and guarded. If you choose excellence and the higher way then you will also serve the excellent and exalted. If you choose to honor, you will be honored. If you choose purity and honor you will reap the same. Some disciples are more salt than others. Someone chooses a tougher and more disciplined way to receive the honor-missions from heaven.

Do you see someone skilled in their work?
    They will serve before kings;
    they will not serve before officials of low rank.
Prov 22:29

Of course you want to serve before kings?! Of course you want to be used by God and influence on a high level? Sure you want to speak to and shake nations?! Yes! Lord! Yes! Some of us respond with tears flowing down our cheeks...

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
2 Tim 2:20-21

Do you want to be a potty or vessel of gold in the house of God?! If you purify yourself and choose ”the holy and higher way” you will become a silver or gold vessel! If you choose the ”Kings Highway” you will be transformed from wood and clay to precious metal! Choose “the Way of Holiness”!

I don’t feel condemnation, or that I am better than anybody else. I just have a deep longing for holiness, more than ever before. This is what I pray when I am before the throne; “Lord, I want to make you proud, and not sad! Lord, use me in holy service!” Sanctification, fear of God and a new devotedness for ministry fills the hotel room…

I am praying that SOS and all our allies will continue to walk on “the Kings Highway”… Lord, help us!

See ya!

Today and Tomorrow!

I am sitting at the Scandic Vulkan Hotel in Oslo. I've taught two days at the Filadelfia Church Bible School (FBO). They have 160 students this year and yesterday around 25 of them were baptized in Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues the last session! I love their staff, teachers and the church here and have been teaching here for 15-16 consecutive years. Ate breakfast with my good friend Stephan Christiansen, Jesus Church, today and preaching at the Filadelfia Church in Strömmen tomorrow night and Saturday...

The Amritzer family simply refuse to live in the past. Yesterday is actually history. We are thankful for victories, vacations and different successes we have experienced, but we are definitely not nostalgic and think that it used to be better...

Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
    For it is not wise to ask such questions.
Ecc 7:10

You cannot turn back time my friend. You cannot relive the old days. You can only learn from history so you don't have to repeat what was negative or invent the wheel again. History teaches us how we can live better today and tomorrow. I hope you understand what I mean friend?!

When I reflect over my life and how it is right now, I am sooo happy...

I am thankful that our church is growing, our Bible school is growing, our festivals expanding and that we are baptizing newly saved and moving forward! Everything is breathing life and belief in the future! This spring and summer is just gonna be so good! March 1-2 I am releasing a new book focusing on family. Both Marie Nylén (Living Families) and Pelle Hörnmark (Leader of the Swedish Pentecostal Movement) will be honor guests at our church this very special weekend. Do not miss it! We'll have a party!

Later in March we are having a Peace Festival in Pakistan and Missions Conference at the end of May!

Stephan and Anne Christiansen, Jesus Church Oslo, and Scott Howe, Evoke Ministries Orlando Florida, will be our guests at #Mission14 May 30 - June 1. Theme for the conference is "Tools for Urban Mission" and we will focus on how to take the mega cities in the world for Jesus! Exciting, creative and very practical workshops will be at your disposal on how we can present our faith through art, dance and other fun things.

Stephan and Anne...

Scott Howe and his team from Evoke Ministries will have creative workshops...

The future is ours! Thank you Jesus!

See ya!
