Pure, Beautiful Prayers!

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

1 Kings 3:5

The Lord spoke to Solomon, who had just become king, in the dream and said; ask for whatever you want. Whatever you want... Wow! God is good!

Here's your chance now Solomon! Take advantage of it! Solomon - ask to become the oldest person on earth! Pray that you become richest of them all! Solomon! Pray down death and destruction on everyone that will ever attack you and try so much as break a hair strand on you or yours! Come on Solomon! This is your chance!

But... No...

The young man asks for wisdom... Solomon asks for wisdom to be able to lead the people he'd been given. He asks to be a good shepherd for Israel just like his dad was.

God loves this prayer! It was a pure prayer. It was a beautiful prayer.

Because of this, he also receives everything that he did not pray for. This is usually what happens when your heart and prayers are pure.

I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. And if you walk in obedience to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.” 

1 Kings 3:12-14

Lord, help us pray pure, beautiful and honest prayers!

This summer I might meet with President Jakaya Kivete of Tanzania. The major newspapers in the country have noticed SOS efforts to heal the wounds and decrease the tensions between the Muslims and the Christians in the nation... This past Saturday (April 20) a very successful press conference was held in the Muslim city Tanga on the northern coast of Tanzania. The Guardian wrote and quoted me in a very observed article where I challenge the leadership of Tanzania to "Take measure against religious tension"... You can read the article here (search on Johannes Amritzer)... Several other newspapers and news medias published articles and broadcasted SOS' and my attempts to help Tanzania in the now pretty critical stage that has occurred after several Muslim extremist's attacks on Christians. Pray for us! Exciting openings!

Intense preparations for our festivals are happening right now in Tanzania. The festival in Mwanza, right on Lake Victoria, will take place June 19-23 and the festival in Tanga July 17-21. Come with us! Contact us! We believe in great breakthroughs for the gospel with salvation and miracles, but we will also arrange some larger social contributions; wells are to be drilled and clothes handed out. Help us! We need you!

The Spirit of our Lord Jesus is opening nations! We see His grace and favor! Pray and fast with us!

Sheiks, Politicians and Bishops

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. 2 He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house.

I'm in Mwanza, Tanzania together with my Festival General, Peter Almqvist. Both the electricity and internet at the hotel by Lake Victoria comes and goes. But their service is great and we are surrounded by bright white smiles on the other hand. I'd rather have positive attitudes than 100% dependable technology ;). I really love Africa with all my heart! I love the humility, the pure faith and joy for life that you find here! :)

The meetings run back to back and we are literally working around the clock... We'll sleep on the plane on our way home ;).

We are experiencing incredible open doors and a favor and wind in our sails directly from heaven! We understand that He who has called and given us the mission is working more and harder than we and has something greater in store than what we can see right now...

We are having lunch with Muslim Sheikhs and dinner with local politicians and Police Chiefs. Meeting lots of bishops from various denominations and preaching in key churches in the city. Everyone wants the best for us, everyone wants to help and be a part of our Leadership Seminars and our big festival here in June!

Yesterday I met my friend Barnabas that leads the largest pentecostal denomination (TAG) in the country. I is standing together with us and wants us to visit all major unreached cities in Tanzania. We shook hands and promised to support each other and work together.He wants me to train their 600 national evangelists for four days next summer 2014. What an honor and comission of trust! I feel very humble in this task. Thank you Jesus for the calling, the holy mission to the unreached people groups in the End Times.

This is what I am praying:

Jesus, you are the Apostle and high priest. You have given me this mission... I am little, weak and simple. I am working with myself and my weaknessess, you know that I am not perfect... The holy heavenly calling and order is bigger than I can bear... Jesus, I give myself, my coworkers and all of SOS to you. Give us the neccessary finances and perform your miracles amoing all the hungry desperate people who comes to our festivals and meetings... I am focusing my thoughts on you and trying to be faithful... I just want to preach you, your cross, your blood, your name, your forgiveness, your miracles and your resurrection! Jesus, I love you! In life and death, through persecution and suffering. With applaudes or eggs and tomatoes on my jacket, I want to serve you... You are more than life for me... Your Hannes

Party-time on Sunday!

I am preaching at home this Sunday. I am longing so hard that I'm almost about to burst...

Our Lead Pastor Walter Zuniga and a team of 5 people are preaching in our daughter church "Signs and Wonders Church Velingrad" in Bulgaria this weekend... Pray for Walter, Carlos, Annelie, Maria, Tony and Sandra! Pastor Janko Angelov has rented the big old theater in Velingrad and all the house churches in the mountains will come down to celebrate Jesus this Sunday! Walter is the dad, apostle and founder of the church and everyone is longing to hear his speak, but also have him pray for the sick! Our street evangelist, Carlos Recinos, will share his testimony of how Jesus saved him from drugs, violence and the gangs... It will be explosive! What a weekend! We are cheering them on from Stockholm!

As the dad and evangelist of SOS Church Stockholm I will "stand in" for Pastor Walter here at home this Sunday and preach at Polstjärnan at both celebrations at 12 and 4 pm!

I am preaching a new message about the blood of Jesus, will have a salvation invitation and then we'll celebrate communion together and pray for the sick! I believe in lots of miracles this Sunday! Will preach short, only 25 minutes and have more time for worship and prayer! It's party-time this Sunday! Welcome!

Apostolic Authority and Protection!

I'm on my way home from Orlando, Florida after four intense but wonderful days. Sitting at a lounge in Frankfurt drinking Espresso, reading the Book of Proverbs, reflecting...

My mentor and spiritual dad, Ron Johnson, is leading an Apostolic Center in northern Orlando together with his Sandy. They have three daughter churches in the city and many sons and daughters both nationally and internationally who all lead successful churches. They have aggressive church planting plans for entire Florida!

Ron Johnson...

We met 12 years ago when I was in a season of transition after my first 9 years as an evangelist. I was longing for more. Wanted to plant churches, write books, start Bible Schools, mission bases, send out missionaries and train leaders. Ron and Sandy were with us and released all this and SOS started expanding powerfully and supernaturally through an obvious and new anointing from the Holy Spirit. The Johnson couple adopted us and we let them willingly! We submitted ourselves to their spiritual leadership and became contagious, in a holy way, with something that had to do with spiritual fatherhood. We experienced more persecution than before and sometimes it felt like hell was chasing after only us. But the relationship with the Johnson's and their network also created a wall of protection that was very obvious. Everything grew. Everything became heavier and more powerful. Everything became more simple. All of a sudden we had Apostolic breakthrough power!

Everyone need to submit to someone. Everyone needs to be accountable to someone that they can call dad. The anointing flows from top to toe (read Ps 133:2). The anointing is in, and resides in the submission, just like the protection, favor and grace. I believe in Apostolic leadership more than ever!

The weekend has been great! I had the privilege of speaking at three services at One Church (the mother church), but also at One Church Park District that is lead bu Justin Johnson (Ron's son). Many where saved and healed! One woman with scoliosis was healed; her back cracked and her shoulders and hips where aligned perfectly again! The Holy Spirit did the job without the laying on of hands or special prayer. She just listed to my message on "The Prayer of Faith" when it happened :). My faithful coworker, Peter, has been with me all weekend and served. We have recorded teachings for a Christian university and had telephone conferences regarding the work in Pakistan. I am so effective when Peter serves :).

Yesterday we rode Harley Davidsons, ate good and drank coffee in the sunshine. We saw alligators and had fun trying to catch lizards with our bare hands ;), laughed a lot and burned ourselves a little in the intense Florida sun... Lovely day! Thank you Jesus for life!

Above all, we did what I really came here for. The annual "confession" or, should we call it the "Apostolic advise". The mentor looks his son in the eyes and asks all the questions that no one else ever does. So delivering. Imagine to receive both correction, love and encouragement  Just imagine that the whip actually makes me a better person than the flattering. (Read Prov 10:17). Correction and a little spanking done in love does me well. I am sooo thankful for spiritual fatherhood!

I was so happily surprised yesterday when another spiritual dad called; Reinhard Bonnke! He lives in Orlando! :) It's always so great when Reinhard calls! We meet way to seldom, but speak on the phone now and then... Yesterday it was 15 precious minutes of heart-to-heart conversation in German. I don't know why we spoke in German, that's just the way it turned out. We were both tired and relaxed, that's when it's the best! ;) Reinhard really is wonderful! God is good!

Attitudes

... let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed  with pure water.

I'm sitting at the SAS lounge on my way to the US, meditating on attitudes... Positive, happy, innocent and pure attitudes. I want to walk a high way. Want to be honest and totally straight-up but at the same time hungry, eager and curious...

I never want to sell my beliefs for cheap, short-term and dirty political solutions and compromises. I'd rather suffer short-term. Want to walk before God with a bleeding and soft heart. Want to live by the motto; if I cannot speak faith, temporarily, I can at least shut my mouth ;).

Lord, help me to bless, protect, honor, believe and live in victory! Lord, help me not to hammer in my beliefs, but instead persuade through my life. Lord, help me to always choose a high way not only by the written word, but also in my mind and heart...
