Pittsburgh

Summer is lovely here in Pennsylvania. I love being back at my friends, Jeff and Melodie Leake in Northern Pittsburgh. The Network of Allison park Church (MCM) is gathering to a "Roundtable" with around 300 pastors registered to two days of fellowship. I preached last night at the opening service and today I am listening to Chris Hodges from Birmingham, Alabama. He is the Lead Pastor of Church of the Highlands. I will have a break out session on healing as well.

Preaching here in Pittsburgh all weekend, both in APC but also at City Reach Church.

Undivided Loyalty

I've preached two services at Reach Church here in Austin TX today and prayed with abround 30 people to salvation! Reach Church has a rock-based young and progressive worship and people are very hungry and open... Sooo exciting; what a future!
I am soon speaking to all the leaders at a cook out at Chris and Melissa Gilkey's home. Everyone is gathering downstairs and in the yard and I'm here in the guest room blogging... Will speak about a united team tonight.

Thinking of our SOS family. I am so thankful for the strong loyalty and strong bonds that have sprung forth over the years. Many of us have been friends for 15 years now... I am meditating on Bible verses from 1 Chronicles about David's heroes. They had an undivided loyalty to their leader, but also to the team and their people. So beautiful!

...they were among the warriors who helped him in battle...
1 Chron 12:1b

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:
“We are yours, David!
We are with you, son of Jesse!
Success, success to you,
and success to those who help you,
for your God will help you.”
So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.
1 Chron 12:18

They were David's heroes. Without David, no heroes, and without the heroes, no king or kingdom. They were dependent on each other.

Later in the same chapter in verse 33 you can read about the 50,000 warriors that came from the tribe of Zebulon that they; "helped David with undivided loyalty..." These kind of warriors is exactly what every sucessful Apostolic Church and Ministry needs.

All these were fighting men who volunteered to serve in the ranks. They came to Hebron fully determined to make David king over all Israel.
1 Chron 12:38a

David's heroes and warriors had an undivided loyalty to David, each other, the kingdom and the people.

Thank You dear Lord Jesus that You, through the Holy Spirit, have given me a team like this! Thank You God for SOS; all our mission bases, Bible schools and churches!

Texas

I'm in Austin Texas at my American "twin-brother" Chris Gilkey this weekend. Chris planted Reach Church 15 months ago and they are already gathering about 700 people in three different services every week... Explosive church-growth with lots of newly saved :)!

I arrived late last night, enjoying a Saturday with no work in 104 degrees F... Started out by borrowing Chris' motror cycle; a Victory Jackpot 1650cc with a real mean sound ;).

Continued on test shooting different weapons for five hours; great counselling! Started out shooting pistol; American Smith & Wesson 0.40 caliber, then on to Austrian Glock 0.357 and then last, but not least Israeli Desert Eagle 0.45 caliber. A Remington 700 308 and then an M16 :).

We rounded off by shooting clay pigeons with three different 12 gauge shot guns...

Now we are enjoying Texas BBQ, a really great day in other words :)!

Tomorrow I preach twice and have a leadership gathering in the evening.

Come with Me to Israel!

The Jewish people and Judaism are our deepest Christian roots. Jesus said; 'Salvation comes from the Jews' (John 4:22). Paul called the Jewish people 'the root' (Romans 11:18). Christians are branches on the Jewish olive tree. That is why Israel and the Jews are so important to us. When we read the Bible there, where everything actually took place, we understand ourselves from a historical perspective. Israel is a spiritual, of natural beauty, multicultural and fascinating experience! Come with me this fall!

Why are 190 Team-Missionaries Going to Tanzania?

In just three weeks a team of 190 missionaries, whereof 100 are from SOS Church Stockholm and 90 from the US and Norway, will invade the city of Dar es Salaam, located on the Indian Ocean coast of Tanzania. Why?! What are you going to do?!

1) We are arranging "Signs & Wonders Festival Dar es Salaam" together with around 100 churches in the region. Our goal is to pray with thousands of people to salvation and demonstrate the power of Jesus for the almost 70% Muslim population!

2) We are arranging a three day long Pastors Conference; "Apostolic Breakthrough 2012" that already has about 2,500 leaders registered. We are believing for thousands yet to come!

3) We have translated and published 5,000 copies of my book; "A Public Spectacle." The book on the ministry of the Apostle will soon be found in Swahili :)!

4) We'll do outreaches all day long, enjoy the miracles Jesus will perform and see transformed lives under the African sun :)!

We are fasting and praying and hoping that Jesus will kiss us all wet from heaven!

The Battle of the Mind

SOS is praying, fasting and seeking God for our large festival in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in June right now... Just want to share a couple of thoughts with you ;).

Like a city whose walls are broken through
is a person who lacks self-control.
Prov 25:28

A bombed city, a population without military for defense, yes, this is how the old King Solomon of the Bible describes a man that no longer has control over his mind and thoughts... Positive thoughts and a secure mind creates peace.

You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.
Is 26:3

What you thought about yourself yesterday, you will say about yourself today, and become it tomorrow. Take control over your thoughts! Build up the wall around your mind again! Make up your mind to think right!
You don't have to continue to dwell on all the thoughts that rush through you mind. Let's shoot down the temptations and depressive, negative thoughts with our spiritual bazookas!

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Cor 10:4-5

We choose to win the battle of the mind, right?! This spring and summer will be great :)!

Salvation Feast in Bulle!

About 2,500-3,000 youths came to the evening service yesterday at the Youth Conference in the French speaking city Bulle in Switzerland. At least 500, and maybe as many as 600 Swiss people responded to my very radical salvation invitation :)! Pastor Brendan White from Paris Hillsong said; "You're fishing with a hand grenade tonight!" :)
Youth Conference in Bulle, Switzerland...

After salvation prayer for forgiveness and Holy Spirit there was a healing explosion, and I mean explosion! Sooo many were healed in their backs, breast and one deaf ear was opened! Thank you Jesus for the grace you have placed upon SOS!
SOS Church Bienne...

Tonight I preached at our church in Bienne and four more gave their lives to Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! How I am enjoying to serve Him! I am flying home tomorrow, but first some good food and fellowship with my friends here...

God, Give Us Stockholm!

Who is like the Lord our God,
the One who sits enthroned on high,
who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?
He raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes,
with the princes of his people.
Ps 113:5-8
