Salvation Feast in Lakewood

Today more than 70 people ran to the front on my salvation invitation here in New Jersey and about 35 were baptized in the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues! Wonderful! I never really grow tired of this, even though I'm on my 20th year of this lifestyle... The passion for the Gospel just grows and so does my love for Jesus!

Charging and preparing for my last service here at Calvary Lighthouse now, before I fly to Stockholm tomorrow afternoon...

See ya!

New Jersey

This weekend we had a 24 hour Men's Conference. We rented an entire Radison hotell and filled it with men. Lots of food, several Bible studies and lots of laughter :). About 20 men responded to my salvation invitation and some were baptized in the Holy Spirit! We concluded the conference by dividing everyone into two large armies and played laser tag outside - a war broke lose...

What a weekend! What great guys - former Italian and Latino mafia guys, workers, business men etc... Love the raw jargong in the New York area and the fast and thick accent ;). Everyone kinda sounds like they do in the God Father movies... Today I preach twice in Calvary Lighthouse Church!

See ya!

A Victorious Church!

Got up at 5:30 am yesterday to pray. Was at the gym at 6:15 and worked out hard until 7:55. Lifted 250 pounds. Had a protein shake and an omelette. Read the Bible and prayed together with my friend Chris Gilkey... Took a shower, packed my suitcase, had time to shop some clothes before I had to head out to the airport in Austin. Flew to New Jersey. Turned my clock 1 hour forward. Worked on my teaching... Longed for my family... SOS Church Stockholm is always on my mind...

A church that prays, fast, do warfare, listens, believes, wins, trains, sends and gives is a victorious church! A church that say no to depts, divorce, sickness, toothache and believe God for happy marriages and strong sound families is a victorious church! A church with happy elderly, kids and youth full of life and energy is a victorious church! Lots of nationalities and cultures, all colors and many different languages, but still in total unity, is a victorious church! Repentance and salvation prayers in every service, baptism in water, baptism in fire, physical and inner healings in the name of Jesus are all signs of a victorious church! Wild worship, speaking in tongues and creativity! Mission trips, help to the poor and outcasts and a home for the lonely - a VICTORIOUS CHURCH!!!

I am praying for you, you bride of Jesus and beautiful place of the Kingdom of God! I greet and serve you in reverence and deep respect! Jesus' own body on the earth! The church of the Living God!

See ya!

The World Needs Men!

Yesterday Chris Gilkey (former Marine) took me to a shooting range here in Austin, Texas for our day off... So fun and typical Texas in a way ;). We shot clay pigeons for hours! The bruises on my right upper arm tells me that we had really fun yesterday! Men become boys on a shooting range with a Winchester 1400 in their hands and clay pigeons flying in from all angles :). After the shot-guns it was time for pistol shooting and I shot with two of my favorite guns; a Colt Commander 45 and an Austrian Glock 357... Masculin fellowship and fun "guy-time" ;). I shot pretty well yesterday and fell asleep with a smile on my face - even though Chris was a much better shot than I and our instructor Wes a pro...

We had steak and salad in the evening, played cards and sat for hours in the Gilkey's bubble pool in the yard, having deep spiritual conversations... What a great day! What good friends :)!

Today I am meditating over the need of real men in the Kingdom of God and the world. Manhood is not about shooting, steaks, the press bench, muscles or the raw jargon and the heartfelt laughter in first hand. But man's secure identity and joy for life should instead spring out from a good relationship to God, and the fact that he is taking care of his family and society. The man and true manhood is important. Don't be ashamed of being a man! Your wife needs a man, not a wimp. You kids need the firmness of a man, his support and encouragement. God loves men- God created us to be man and woman. My Maria is a woman, I'm not. She is my feminine side - I don't have one. I have no need to be feminine. I married a woman, she is feminine and I love it.

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
1 Cor 16:13

Praying for SOS Church today! Praying that our men will be strong and take responsibility! Praying that more strong families will join the church!

See ya!

Reach Church

Preached twice in the newly planted church "Reach Church" in Austin Texas yesterday! Chris and Melissa Gilkey, some of our best friends, started this church three weeks ago... 18 precious people ran to front on my salvation invitation in the am service and last night many were baptized in the Holy Spirit :)! The services are held in a school right now, but tonight we layed our hands on a large building and prayed together! They will soon move in!

Austin, Texas...

It's my day off today - enjoying card games, motor cycle rides and shooting clay pigeons! The Gilkey's are spoiling me...

Church Building

Talking to pioneers and church builders all over the world and get different angles and input all the time... Realizing that there isn't a technique or special "recipe" for successful church building...

We really only focus on a few thing is SOS;

1) A clear overbridging vision description! The vision is the same for all our different departments in the church. The entire church run with clear sub targets with deadlines, but the different departments also run with their own visions! The vision and the sub targets are what drives us forth!

2) A unified leadership team that is more like a family than a board. We have no secrets, but carry, support and cover up for one another. A great team!

3) A clear Jesus-focus that will result in that everyone in the church wins and disicples at least one person every year. Everyone baptizes, trains and are father and mother figures for new believers.

4) A belief in the Holy Spirit as helper, guide and miracle doer! A life of adventures in the Spirit as follower of Jesus. We are priests for those who don't go to church, sent out on holy special missions. The Book of Acts is our norm and role model. The Gospel is power!

5) We believe in multiplication and constant release new leaders, travel on mission trips and plant new daughter churches!

Thoughts in Pittsburgh

Teaching Ever Increasing Faith at MCM Ministry School at Allison Park Church, Pittsburgh... Praying alot for SOS upcoming festivals in Pakistan. I'm usually not so effected by jetlag, but this time it's hard... Sitting at the gym; Club Julian, trying to motivate myself for a work out ;). Have to train to keep myself awake, but also to be able to fall asleep tonight...

Thinking a little;

- Don't want to be judgemental, narrowminded and hypocritical.
- Want to be true, embrace life and be hungry.
- Want to become nicer.
- Want to laugh more.
- Want to take care of friends and enjoy the moment more.
- Don't want to be cynical, bitter and whiney.
- Want to love Jesus more.
- Want to passionate about the Gospel.
- Want to be a good daddy and husband.

Sitting at the free weights department realizing that I love the smell of hand weights and the "boxing gym atmosphere" :). Can't help it... Like the raw, rough, simple and beautifully worn... Working class and the men's locker room is kinda my home environment, just like boxing, weapons and large steaks. I'm a warrior, adventurer, hunter and biker - all at the same time... I love to work out until I feel the taste of blood in my mouth or have a nose bleed... I have no need to try to fit in either in the church world or in a feministic plastic- and pretend society. Love camp fires, dirt under my finger nails and when my wife wears high heals and a skirt. I am a man and enjoy being just that :)...

I fly to Austin TX on Saturday to preach at a church there! After that I head to New Jersey...

Thank you Jesus for life!

See ya!

Lofoten - the Pearl of Northern Norway

I'm on my way home from the land of the killer whales and whales, or why not the mountains', fjords' and fishing villages' paradise :)! Lofoten was a chockingly beautiful place on this earth and I will probably go there again... Maybe a fishing and whale safari trip - a family vacation and an adventure in the wild that my kids would love...

I visited the Bethel Church in Leknes and have preached, taught and prayed for hungry Norwegians all weekend... Many seekers have been saved and about 15 were baptized in the Holy Spirit and happily spoke their new secret prayer language (tongues)... The Gospel is the best! The Spirit of Jesus is so wonderful:)!

Linnea Hagenfors and Eli Solkbakken from SOS lead worship this weekend...

I'm at Gardemoen Airport in Oslo, drinking coffee and Farris (mineral water) trying to sum up all the impressions... Northern Norway is beautiful and the Norwegians up north that I've met during the years in Hammerfest, Alfta, Tromsö, Lofoten and Bodö are humble, down to earth and warm people!

I'll soon be home in my Stockholm again :)! The city of my dreams, the place Jesus called me to serve and the people that I love with all my heart!

Our Leadership Days starts soon!

See ya soon!

Prayer for Stockholm!

I'm home in my dear Stockholm again! Teaching at SOS Leadership School and are visiting families in the church... Visited four famillies last night :)! I really love being a pastor! Stockholm and the unreached people groups is a holy calling!

This Friday we have a prayer night at SOS Church, we will storm heaven between 10 pm and 2 am! The Holy Spirit works when we pray. We see clearly when we seek God. Everything changes when we pray! This is the first prayer night in 2011 - come and build church with us!

If you're resistant - come because of that :)! If you don't feel like it - the deceiving feeling will dissapear in the first worship song! Come now! Declare war on flesh, slackness, apathy and comfort! The warriors are gathering and you are one of them :)!

See ya!
