Lake Jessup and alligators

I preached twice at Markham Woods at the 9 am and 11 am services yesterday, and several people were saved in both services!

After that we took an air boat tour on lake Jessup, which is home for 10 000 alligators! We rode Harley Davidson there and went on an alligator-safar in the sunset – it was soo much fun! We saw several armoured-plated reptiles and then we wrapped up the tour in a small restaurant by the lakeshore :)

What an amazing day! Florida experiences! The kids are enjoying themselves enormously… Some card games and coffe… Night night…

Flying home via Atlanta, Paris to Stockholm today…

See ya!

Teaching and praying

I’m teaching at Markham Woods Church… Such wonderful people – I love people by the way.. Last nite I held a Bible study on the theme; “Apostolic Signs”. What signifies a new apostolic era and the restoration of the early church in the last generations before Jesus returns?! We prayed for hungry people to salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit and healing for hours… Jesus called people to holy ministry in his kingdom and a visionary and prophetic spirit was upon everyone. Everybody sat there quiet, some were crying and nobody wanted to go home… Beautiful…

Today I held two Bible studies from my book; ”Priest for those who don’t go to church and I sold many books… I’m getting to know new exciting friends here, wild evangelists, missionaries, artists, musicians etc..

Adam and I just returned from a ride on Ron’s Harley Davidson… I enjoyed it to the maximum!

Tomorrow I’m preaching at 9 am and 11 am and will pray for people again… I love Jesus, the ministry and life more than ever…

I’m thinking about our church back home in Stockholm and I know that everyone is working on thier seeker friends, new disciples and I am proud of all our SOS people who are salt and light in Stockholm! Tomorrow at 4pm Walter will be preaching – I would so much have loved to hear him! I wonder which of our heroes will baptize tomorrow or next week?!

See ya!

- my friends all over the world...
- a good meal and card playing...
- a good night’s sleep after working out...
- jokes and a good laugh...

- simplicity and being in love with Jesus...
- Bible reading between 5am – 7am...

Motorcycles and cars will rust. Houses have to be renovated and painted. Computers and mobile phones have to be updated. But everything on the list above is completely free and cannot be bought or valued in money…

Magic Kingdom

I’m sitting in ”tomorrowland” in the middle of Magic Kingdom... My head is spinning even though the coffee tastes great and the Florida sun is shining so beautifully… Disney World gets a little crazy after a while ;) The kids love all the special effects and rides – I’m longing for a little boat on a quiet, small forest lake.. oh well – we did it anyway a dad thinks who at the same time enjoys the fact that his family loves the Magic Kingdom, are laughing and having fun!

One of my best friends Chris Gilkey is starting up a church in Austin, Texas and I’m following the new church planting process with excitement and expectations on God! Chris has an amazing potential, he is a super gifted person, but at the same time a humble magnet for the favor of God and His miracle power… Chris has a “founding team” of 60 wholly devoted warriors. What great prerequisite for a “mega church”!!! Go Chris! God believes in you! I believe in you (if that means anything compared to our Lord)!

The kingdom of God is my
”Magic Kingdom” – it’s sooo exciting all the time! I’m sowing aggressively and I believe in great harvests and an amazingly good God! All my dreams will come true in God’s own Magic Kingdom!

I’m preaching and teaching
5 times in Markham Woods Church here in Orlando this weekend! I wonder what the Holy Spirit is up to?! :)

Sea World

I'm sitting with a warm cup of coffee in the afternoon sun, in the middle of "Sea World" outside Orlando, Florida, enjoying life together with my family... We arrived when the park opened, already at 9 am, and we have already watched the "dolphin and whale show", sea-lion and otter show and a completely outstanding killer-whale show! USA knows no limits and doesn't know how spell the word "good enough". This is so liberating for us who live in "good enough" Sweden!

We're having a four-day mini-vacation before I preach and teach here this weekend... This weekend we will have signs, wonders and holy adventures together with the Spirit of Jesus! :) Imagine serving Jesus and following the Holy Spirit!

But now we continue to enjoy the amusement parks, the sunshine and coffee... Tomorrow we'll visit the "Magic Kingdom", one of four parks in Disney World! The church here has provided for all the entrance fees! Our stay here, with living, travel and food are all payed for (the family flew on bonus points) - thank you Jesus for an extra spontaneous and wonderful time with the best family in the world! :)

Our family is so important! My family is my biggest amount of trust in ministry for the Kingdom of God! That's why we focus especially on teaching on ministry and family in SOS Church this spring! Don't forget to sign up for our Leadership days by emailing info@missionsos.org! The theme is "the Family-Your greatest amount of trust"!

The work of the Holy Spirit!

I have just finished three days of teaching at FBO (Filadelfia Bible School, Oslo) – it was so much fun! Today 15 hungry students were baptized in the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues during the last class!

I have taught on Power Evangelism – day 1; the Holy Spirit and Love- day 2; the Holy Spirit your GPS, day 3; the gifts of the Holy Spirit…
I’m meditating on the life of the Spirit, his revolution and manifestation in my life and ministry – the first 20 years… The law of the Spirit of life leads me closer to Jesus every day and my longing for holiness and the fear of the Lord are growing…

The Spirit leads away from and sets free from alcohol, cursing, prestige but also fear, legalism and condemnation have to bow to the flood of the Holy Spirit! The Law of the Spirit sharpens us and we want to live pure, beautiful and in a way that pleases our Lord with the help of the flood that’s inside of us!

Oslo - beautiful city!

I’m teaching at FBO (Filadelfia Bible School, Oslo) and loving it… This is my eleventh year as a teacher here and I’m teaching on the same subject; Power Evangelism! This year’s class is large, 70 students! The staff here with dean Arne are so beautiful, they treated me with great food at a steak house and we’re laughing a lot together! After I had lead prayer in Filadelfia church yesterday, I ate dinner together with two former students from SOS that had joined the prayer gathering – it was so much fun to hear what they’re doing today! :)

My good old friend Stephan Christiansen came by the hotel for a cup of tea and we talked and prayed together…

Tomorrow I will continue teaching in this beautiful city!

Bikes and different breeds of dogs..

I’m having a day off today. I’ll be flying to Oslo, Norway this evening… Im teaching at FBO during three days (Filadelfia Bible School, Oslo). Right now I’m enjoying a cup of coffee together with Maria on the couch... Adam just came home from school. I am tired but relaxed… We’re discussing different dogs – it would be soo much fun to have a dog. We are weighing pros and cons and all the challenges that a new family member brings… :)

A few challenges;

-We travel a lot and would need a ”dog sitter” often.
-We would need to build a large pound in the garden.
-We have church members that are allergic.

If we decide to get a dog, I want a beagle, basset or a badger-dog, but Maria thinks a bit differently and so the conversation keeps going… A hunting, guard or a family dog? Maybe there is a combination?!

I know it’s a bit early, but I already long for bare ground and beautiful warm summer evenings. Why? Well… There is namely a red Harley Davidson in a garage and it belongs to the Amritzer family! Noisy joy! :)

Conversations and dreams on a Monday...

See ya!

The Festival Year 2011!

Today I prayed a salvation prayer with a new friend at TGI Friday’s, in central Stockholm! We will have a baptism party three weeks from now, when we will bury an old life and a new life will begin! I love to be a priest for Stockholm and train eager Jesus disciples!

Sunday we will have vision Sunday no 2 – 2011! At 2 pm we have a meeting for our members, where we will account for our finances during 2010 and a budget for 2011 will be presented, etc! At 4 pm we’re having a vision casting Celebration for all of Stockholm! Welcome!

In 2011 SOS will focus on four festivals in strategic key cities in Pakistan – Sailkot, Fasalabad, Lahore and Karachi! We will use our portable festival equipment and stand in faith for 50 000 new Jesus disciples in follow-up classes at the end of the year!

Which trip will you join? The festival months are April, May, September and November! More information and registration can be found here!
Please give an extra ”festival gift” over and above your tithe – it’s needed!

See you in the festival year 2011!

SOS Church!

It was so good to hold a Bible study for all our leaders in our café last nite! What an evening we had! We talked about spiritual unity vs babel of tongues, in other words, disturbance in relationships.

True spiritual unity produces:

1) Commanded blessings! (Ps. 133:1-3) Strong finances, happiness and a long life..
2) The world will believe! (John 17:21-23) Repentance because they see the love of Jesus in our fellowship…
3) Miracle power! (Acts 4:32:33) Signs, wonders and grace are released in the church…

We need all of the above in SOS! We’re searching for true spiritual unity by;

1) Esteeming others higher than ourselves! (Phil. 2:1-4)
2) Living and walking in the light and being open with one another! (1 John 1:6-7)

We focused on our vision
and on our Faith goals for 2011 and prayed together! We wrapped up the evening by planning the spring as well… Wonderful sisters and brothers and then the Hamrén family treated us with really delicious sandwiches :)

Today life continues with teaching at SOS Mission Bible College, working out at the gym, and prayer together with the pastor’s team… This upcoming weekend smells like baptism and miracle meetings! :) Don’t miss the vision meeting this Sunday at 2 pm for members and Celebration for everyone at 4 pm! Welcome!

See ya!

SOS Leader Seminary

I landed with Norwegian Airlines on terminal 4 at Arlanda Airport around noon today… Carlos Recinos, a good friend from El Salvador picked me up and drove me home to Tullinge… After preaching a weekend in Piteå, northern Sweden, it feels good to step on Stockholm ground again.. Tonite we ate different specialities from the North, potato dumplings, slices of reindeer meat and whitefish roe – an evening off with the family! :)

Tomorrow I’m teaching at SOS Mission Bible College on ”the Healing Ministry of Jesus”…

Apart from that, I’m preparing and looking forward to WEDNESDAY NIGHT, this Wednesday January 12th at 7 pm! We will meet in SOS Church at Warfvingesväg 26 on Kungsholmen! We’re holding an “inside information gathering” for all our leaders in SOS with a lot of exciting information, but also a teaching session. We will have a Bible study for leaders, ”deep fishing” in the Bible, not milk, but meat is what is promised! It’s going to be soo good!

All our leaders will gather, pastors, the leader team, house church leaders, worship leaders, ushers, café and cleaning groups, janitors and former missionaries! ;) I don’t want to hear anyone say timidly, in a Swedish way; “ –I didn’t think I was included or invited” ;) Those of you who have any kind of responsibility in SOS are welcome! Bible study group leaders, youth and children’s leaders, staff at the Bible school, drama, dance, sound and light, students at the Leader school, etc! :) Come! We are building SOS future this Wednesday nite!

See ya!

Northern Sweden!

I love the North! I’m in northern Sweden in Piteå at a conference preaching together with Lennart Möller… this is soo much fun! The people up here are so warm, humble, down-to earth and genuine! I have met many friends from Lapland and different places from around Sweden… Last night the house was packed! :) I enjoy the diversity of people from different denominations, Pentecostals, faith movement, etc! There is still one meeting left, Sunday at 6 pm – welcome to join if you live close enough! ;) I’m flying home Monday morning!

Walter Zuniga (my favorite preacher) will be preaching at SOS Celebration at 4pm today! And it looks like we’re baptizing two new disciples to Jesus as well!

See ya!

That little extra..

The big thing is always hidden in what’s small. The secret to success and influence is often so simple that it’s easy to despise it or not take it seriously..

Jesus says in his famous sermon on the Mountain:

“If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. “ Matt. 5:41

In Luke Jesus says;

“If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. “ Luke 6:29b

Jesus says that we always should do; “that little extra”.. That little extra is often what makes the whole difference. That little extra separates a good leader from an average leader in the crowd. That little extra distinguishes an amazing church from an average church among all other churches. That little extra that a mother and a wife does makes everyday life into a feast. That little extra is what brightens life, that little extra shines, is noticeable, and nobody can forget it. That little extra is that well thought over gift to your friend instead of that traditional flower or chocolate. That little extra is everything you wouldn’t give or buy for yourself.

When you’ve done everything duty tells you to do, then ask the question;- what would be the “icing on the cake” right now?! – what more can I do?! That little extra creates excellence, joy and well-being! Let’s go the extra mile for someone else and give away yet another suit or a nice pair of shoes in 2011!

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

In 2011 we will do that little extra for the newly saved, youth and children in the church! In 2011 we’ll do something extra for the poor in the city and for the unreached peoples! In 2011 we will distinguish ourselves from the crowd by declaring war against “average”!

Today I’m flying out to Luleå
in North Sweden to preach the whole weekend-fun! In SOS Church we will hold Saturday Bible study at 4 pm and on our Sunday Celebration at 4 pm Walter Zuniga will be preaching!

See ya!

2011 – the warrior awakes!

After a relaxing Christmas' and New Year’s break we had our first kick off – and vision casting Sunday yesterday. Vision casting Sunday no 2 will be held January 16 @ 2pm with a vision meeting for our members, and then at 4 pm - Celebration for everyone!

It is good to begin the year with prayer and fasting to be able to listen to what the Holy Spirit is whispering. I always enjoy the first days of January which usually is a time of prayer, cleansing, sanctification and preparation for the advances we will make during spring. Tomorrow evening the pastor’s team will gather for prayer and Wednesday we will have another leader gathering where we focus on prayer and Bible reading… 2011 is the year when “the warrior wakes up”… We are not ex-warriors, we continue to exercise, check our weapons and examine our gear in order to be able to go to war for the kingdom of God! The warfront is where we live our lives!

The battle front, bullet rain and gunpowder smoke are our right element. Sure it’s cozy with coffee and card games in the kitchen, but now it is time to preach the Gospel, train disciples and ignite fires in cities and people groups that still are living in demonic darkness!

Our life style is important! The disciplined SOS life style has sometimes been slandered and despised by soulish people in Christianity’s pacifist camps, but the warrior’s life style is still crucial in order to obtain victory. Jesus has already defeated the devil on the cross two thousand years ago! The devil’s desperate “retreat” war should still not be despised or ridiculed… There are many Christians who have done just that and this may also be the reason why they have fallen for one of the devil's flaming arrows… Our enemy is sinister, wily and smart. This is why we must continue to nourish and work with;

1) Strong inner lives (prayer, fasting and Bible meditation)…

2) Fellowship with non-Christians and discipleship train new saved every week..

3) Healthy livning, eating right, working out and spending time with our families..

I hear the Spirit whisper; ”2011 is the year when the warrior wakes up!”

Four festivals in Pakistan! Why don’t you join us this year?! SOS Mission Bible College or the Leader school! Why not apply this year?! 2011 is the year when you will baptize a new saved friend! 2011 is the year when you will be strong in helping new disciples become baptized in the Holy Spirit! 2011 is the year when you will cast out an evil spirit for the first time! 2011 is your year of breakthrough!

Mass wedding in Haiti!

In the midst of the cholera epidemic that has broken out in Haiti, I have received reports from Hudson, our coordinator on-site. He shared about the tent camp in Port-au-Prince, where SOS planted a church after the Signs & Wonders festival that we held there in October. In the follow-up work after the festival, many new-saved who lived as cohabitants wanted to get married. This resulted in a festive mass wedding where 26 couples were married! Enjoy! :)

I hope to see many of you tomorrow at out Sunday Celebration at 4pm, where I will be sharing the vision for 2011!

See ya!
