Thankfulness!

I want to enter into the new year with thankfulness! Just think how God has lifted, blessed and done many miracles in 2010! Thank you Jesus!

" You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. “
Ps 65:11

Yes! Exactly! Jesus crowned my 2010 with all his goodness and where he walked in my life, his footprints overflowed with oil, fatness, miracles, signs and abundance! He is wonderful! Thank you once again wonderful Jesus!

He helped my kids in school, protected my family from sicknesses and accidents! He gave me new suits, new friends and joy in my marriage! :) Oh, I could make the list soo long..

Now 2011 is almost here! I’m reflecting, summarizing and doing an final account of 2010 – surplus, plus, bonus and great victories! I am convinced that the Lord will perform miracles and surprise us next year as well, but I still do not want to take anything for given… This is an odd but beautiful paradox.. I don’t want to forget to give thanks..

SOS Church 1 year Anniversary!

The Portable Festival Equipment!

Salvations, baptisms and follow-up in SOS Church!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil. 4:6-7

Happy New 2011!

Time to reflect, laugh, and enjoy!

The house is clean. The Christmas tree is decorated. I’m finished with all administration. We’ve enjoyed all the Christmas parties…

I’m sitting by the fire place in my basement. I’m drinking coffe, enjoying a box of Paradis chocolate and savoring the thought of a new saved friend’s baptism in the Holy Spirit yesterday afternoon – there is nothing like it when a grown up man is bubbling over in tongues for the first time in his life!

Now it’s time to reflect,
laugh and simply enjoy! What a year we’re leaving behind us - God has been soo good to us! I feel a true and deep thankfulness not wanting to take anything for granted in the future… Life is great right now. I’m filled with humble thoughts. I have a fear of God at the same time expectation towards all God’s surprises in 2011! I’m an adventurer since many years and will continue to do explorations in unknown territories next year!

Tomorrow my dad and his wife Annette will come and visit us, they will stay until boxing day. Two of my sisters and Marias little sister are celebrating Christmas together with us this year. I love my brothers-in-law Fernan and Jonatan – there will be a lot of card games and laughter around the kitchen table this Christmas :) Even more guests are on their way and we will have a full house! Wonderful!

See ya!

Make the right investment!

Some people invest in stocks and bonds and properties… Naturally, it is always good to save, administer in order to make an increase, but there are also risks involved and everything can be lost…

I have chosen to invest in people. Maybe I should invest in both… Investing in people can also be risky-they can deceive, betray and turn against you. Once a close friend, family and ally, is a few years later a bitter enemy…

I still think it safer to invest in people than in gold and dead, cold metal. In the long run, close friends are a safer stock than an unstable and insecure market, stock exchange and bank. Instead invest in relationships, give time, love and care. Invest in new disciples to Jesus and faithful bearers and pillars in the church!

Love, honor and give! There are three wonderful elements in the kingdom of God that grow the more you give. Love/honor/respect/ and generosity cannot fail!

To my leaders, my church and all new Jesus disciples in my immediate presence! I love you! I just want to honor you! I want to give my life for you! I wish you all a blessed Christmas holiday!

Your pastor and intercessor

Don't forget what's most important this Christmas!

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matt 25:35-36

The church is a force for justice in society. The church is the instrument through which God can play such a beautiful melody if we just allow Him... The church is the hands and feet of Jesus. Don’t forget the church this Christmas… Give generously to the church from your money and your surplus!

Give the hungry food to eat and the thirsty water to drink through your church! Ask your pastors and leaders how to do this?!

What can I give to?
Where are the greatest needs?
How can I be part of helping this Christmas?

SOS Church Stockholm wishes to be a channel for your love and administer your love and compassion this Christmas…

We are in need of:

- Appr. $ 9000 for SOS TV!
- Appr. $ 6000 for SOS Fine Arts!
- Appr. $ 4500 for SOS interpretation devices!
- Appr. $ 3000 for SOS Mission Bases!
- Appr. $ 1500 for SOS Youth!
- Appr. $ 1500 for SOS Kids!

Mark your gift and give a gift to the church on Pg;830 75 50-7. When you buy Christmas gifts, food and concert tickets, don’t forget your church this Christmas! This Christmas the church will help the homeless, refugees, those in prison and the sick!

Jesus said: ”Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matt 25:40b

A businessman from our church had recently given a large sum of money for the benefit of homeless in Stockholm and this person told me: “soon there will be another Christmas gift to the church”… Someone said; “ My dream is to sometime in my life be able to pay a whole festival among unreached people privately.” What church members! What a beautiful spirit of giving and what a generosity well-pleasing to God. Maria and I want to give aggressively this Christmas! Clothes for the poor! Help for refugees! Financial aid to families in need.

What will you do?!

See ya!

Fear of terror in "safe” Sweden

It’s a special thing to be a pastor in Stockholm today… The fear of terror is gripping people like an aggressive cancer… The media talks about a change of trends in Sweden and everyone expects another suicide attack during this Christmas season… I’m wearing my clerical collar and speak hope, security and Jesus with the people in Stockholm...

We need to unite in prayer for Stockholm! What the streets of Stockholm need today are warm, loving disciples of Jesus… Don’t stay home in fear. Take the metro, commuter train and go downtown! We do not bow to fear, but we rise in love and faith!

All the beautiful people from the Middle East need a big hug today. Sweden must understand that not all Muslims are terrorists, at the same time taking the threats from fundamentalists seriously – naivety is dangerous.

Sweden is a home for people who have fled wars, famines and injustices from all over the world and it will remain such a country! Stockholm is a multi-ethnical city that we that live here are proud of!

Faith in Jesus is about forgiveness, a second chance, equality, speaking the truth and compassion!

- Let’s pray that this will be the first and last deed of this kind in Sweden!
- Let’s pray for all the beautiful people from the Middle East in Sweden!
- Let’s bind all the powers of racism in Jesus’ Name!

Stockholm needs praying people and loving fellow human beings, not just people with a thousand different opinions and speculations!

It’s time to take responsibility for Stockholm!

Life...

Life as a priest in Stockholm is not only teaching, planning, administration and Sunday celebrations…
Life is also all my newly saved friends, their curious questions, their answers to prayers and spiritual experiences… Luncheons, dinners, chess games, baptism and baptisms in the Holy Spirit! I really love my life!

I’m driving and picking up my wife at Huddinge hospital where she works as a nurse-I enjoy our conversations.

I watched my daughter Alicia at her riding school near Tumba and then I played pizza and card games with Adam… Finally I had dinner with dear friends :)

Trained at the gym, handed in my dress pants to be fixed at a seamstress, I love the everyday life here at home just as much as the festivals and my travels around the world! All this is life…

See ya!

December 17-19th SOS Church will have Julshow (Christmas Show). We will hold three creative performances with interpretation to Spanish on Friday at 7pm and into English on Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 4pm… Explosions of joy in the December darkness!

Buy your tickets this Sunday!

Simple people...

I long for black and white. Yes and no is actually all that is needed… Honest tears, heartfelt laughter, honest eyes and a firm handshake. Workers, givers, hospitable and generous people is what builds a church! Christians who are focused on doing the Great Commission. Christians who pray for and baptize their friends.

People who choose a higher way than gossiping and having opinions about everyone. Simple people hate false games, hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness. Simple people who roll up their sleeves and who choose to see challenges instead of problems. Imagine that I am pastoring a church filled with such people!

Today I will teach the Leader School, meet new saved friends and work on my message for Sunday.., What a beautiful day!

See ya!

SOS India

We began working in India in 1998. We performed five festivals during a couple of intense years. The pastor’s seminaries began growing up to 1200 pastors that were gathered in Nagpur in 2002. SOS Bible College India has under the leadership of Asokan and Sissy examined six classes. These graduates became our field workers and have planted 122 SOS churches. Our church plants are situated in the northern states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jankardh, Gujarat, Orissa, etc…

Our pastors have planted churches among unreached Animist and Hindu people groups mainly in villages in the rural areas. Our people are casting out demons, baptizing new believers, praying for the sick, praying in tongues and praising Jesus! Our Bible School in India has had a break for a couple of years, but will now restart after the new year!

The students are hand-picked from the different SOS churches and will be trained intensely for 10 months. After graduation they will all be sent out to plant new churches. We are so happy and thankful for a new sponsor that God has given us! Now we will start up in India again! Pray for SOS India and stand in faith with us for at least 20 new church plants during 2011, preferably 25!

God is good! See ya!

Take a deep breath...

I’m working in Stockholm the entire month of December… I’m teaching both Bible School classes, meeting new disciples, teaching them about baptism, doing counseling and visiting people. I’m sitting at board and vision casting meetings, leading prayer, coaching leaders, preaching etc…

I enjoy being a full-time pastor! I enjoy being Alicia’s and Adam’s dad, Maria’s husband, but also a friend to Walter, Andreas, Tommy, and so many more… Life is an intense and beautiful gift ;)

Today my Maria celebrates her birthday! We began celebrating her early at home, and we will continue in the evening with dinner, a movie and a hotel in the Old Town of Stockholm! Congratulations to a beloved wife, mother and best friend!

Tonite I will take a deep breath, reflect, and enjoy life!

See ya!
