Buttprints in the Sand

One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen,
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.

But then some strange prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?"
Those prints are large and round and neat,
"But Lord, they are too big for feet."

"My child," He said in somber tones,
"For miles I carried you along.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait."

"You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt."

"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their butt prints in the sand."

Dreaming of a Harley Davidson and a summer green Stockholm...

I am preaching at SOS Church today... Am so looking forward to meeting the church family again! It is summer green all over Stockholm and I spent Saturday searching online for a Harley Davidson... Now it's time to buy! The boy dream will become reality! However, my limit is 52,000 SEK... I searched the Internet while I was playing catch up will things after a two week adventure in Africa... Saturday was spent with moving the lawn, paying bills, sorting the mail and preparing my sermon – all at once so to say...
At the end of July we will have SOS Church Camp – three days of bar-b-q, beach, soccer, Bible studies, and praise & worship evenings with the church! We are planing this weekend, Walter and I... Mark your calendar now for this weekend!

Signs, Wonders and Safari

"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." Mark 6:31

I have just had a wonderful day off in the national park Tarangire with my family and the SOS team… We stood up through our jeep’s sunroof and saw elephants, lions, giraffes and monkeys from such a short distance… Sunshine, beautiful African scenery, hilly countryside and picnic with a great view… We, but mostly our children I think, had the most awesome adventure today!

All in all we prayed with 2800 people to salvation in Same, about 1000 people were baptized in the Spirit, about 35 people were delivered from evil spirits and the healing miracles were countless :) Wonders, signs and safari – life at its best!

Tomorrow, a friend who is a pilot will take us across Moshi and around Kilimanjaro in a small Cessna 172-airplain – a bonus and yet another adventure for our kids :). I am so happy to serve such a generous employer… Tomorrow I’ll be flying home to Stockholm and to my beloved SOS Church. I’ll preach at home on Sunday – Yes!

See you!

Travelling

I have landed in Stockholm for 24 hours to meet my wife and kids - we are going to enjoy the Swedish spring weather as soon as the kids come home from school today... My kids are growing up, they are smart and cool... Guess who's a proud dad?

I fly to Norway tomorrow to preach at a conference arranged by a whole bunch of churches at Österbo, right outside Halden. From there I fly directly to Esbo in Finland to speak at a youth conference this weekend.

At the base of Mt Kilimanjaro...

My family will fly before me to Tanzania and then we'll meet there and do a festival together in about 8 days! The kids have practised African dances and we are praying for a Jesus and miracle party in the sunset at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro!

Travelling...

The Amritzer family are living travelling the next couple of weeks... Then we'll be back at SOS Church Stockholm again! We believe in a summer of baptisms! At the end of July we are having SOS Church Camp - don't miss it!

Flying to Stockholm Tonight

I've written 2/3 of my new book that I am hoping to be able to release at our 1 year anniversary for SOS Church Stockholm at the end of August - we'll see... I'm thinking of calling the book; A Spectacle to the Whole Universe, it's about the ministry of the apostle and apostolic Christianity.

Per and Marielle Gisselsson head up the SOS base in Thailand...

It has been so important to be here this week. We've done a lot of leadership coaching, had evaluation and talks about the future as leadership team for the church here... The future for Khon Kaen International Church is bright and its leadership is made up of humble, praying and pure men and women of God...

Pastor Neung and family, pastors Khon Kaen Int Church together with the Gisselsson family...

Got reports from Pastor Emma from our celebration in Stockholm last night. Several saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit and three were baptized in a very cold Lake Mälaren at the Rålamshovs Park directly after the service - hallelujah! Walter reports from Bulgaria where he has been preaching this week, read his blog! Peter reports from Tanzania where the School of Leadership is right now, read his blog! We are advancing! I'm on my way home to Stockholm now, flying from Khon Kaen via Bangkok and then directly to Stockholm late tonight!

Celebration in Khon Kaen

Today we celebrated Jesus here at the SOS base - Khon Kaen International Church... I preached about heaven and three people prayed a salvation prayer, then we prayed and prophecied over all the Bible School students that were present... Awesome worship, such relaxed and folksy atmosphere and then baptism at the end while people were fellowshipping and having coffee...

Paul Pindroh baptized his room mate from the house where he stays. The discovery that it was just like having church back in Stockholm city, Bulgaria, Ethiopia or India hit me and it was almost a little creepy. The same spirit, style, joy and relaxed atomosphere! The DNA of the SOS family impregnates everything and I felt so at home! They relate to me with just as the grandchild to their grand daddy :). Wonderful discovery!

SOS Bible School in Thailand

Some of our wonderful Bible School students in Thailand...

I just came back to the hotel. I've been teaching at our Bible School here from 9 am to 2:25 pm except for two longer breaks and two 5-minute breaks... Wonderful and very hungry students. There is a Chinese girl in the class that stands out among the 20 students - I believe she will go far and do so many great things for the Kingdom of God! I have taught the Book of Acts, 5 sessions - 17 points of what defines an apostolic church...

Paul...

Borrowed a motor cycle from the team and have ridden around Khon Kaen a little with our US SOS missionary Paul Pindroh - had ice cream and coffee... I'll continue to write tonight... I'm preaching at Khon Kaen International Church, our base church here, tomorrow and I am so looking forward to that!

Praying for the Dead to Rise!

I'm having wonderful days of writing and praying here in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Staying at the Piman Garden Residence for only about $25 a night. Here's everything I need, AC, shower and WiFi. All day I'm sitting, Bible opened, praying and writing on a new book...

Khon Kaen city...

Last night I prayed 2 hours with the pastoral team and there was such a prophetic anointing. Today I'm praying for:

1) Aggressive church growth in Stockholm - it's a little too slow I think :).

2) I'm praying for dead to rise in our festivals and on our mission bases.

3) Praying that the sons and daughters of SOS will grow up fast and explode in their callings...

Prayer, Bible meditation and fasting - is there anythig better! I love to spend time with the Holy Spirit and I'm enjoying the loneliness... Thank you Jesus! Charging for the festival in Tanzania as well - it will be sweaty joy in the red dust! A Jesus-party! Miracle-party! Dancing in the sunset!

See ya!

SOS Pastoral Team in Khon Kaen

I'm sitting with our pastoral team on our base in South East Asia listening to miracle stories - such cool and amazing stories! Khon Kaen International Church has existed for 2.5 years and we have had missionaries here for 3.5 years. The team has baptized about 330 new believers and they now have 20 students at the Bible School! Wow! There's more harmony and job satisfaction then any other time here at this SOS base's short and pretty stormy history...

Baptism in the Khon Kaen prison...

I wrote two chapters on my new book today as well - wrote undisturbed for 8 hours straight...

Quick Visit to Thailand

Today I am on my way to Bangkok and then on to Khon Kaen and are base in Southeast Asia... I will try and get some wiring done on a new book, pray, fast and seek God... Of course, I cannot wait to meet the beloved Gisselsson family – faithful covenant friends since more than 10 years already. We have stuck together, through everything and only become more closely knight together – they are without a doubt part of the inner gang among my friends...

Per and Marielle with their sons Melvin and Noel...

I will be teaching one day at our school and preach some services at our base church - Khon Kaen International Church! I am so looking forward to what the Holy Spirit will do! Now a loooooong journey awaits... I will be away from Stockholm for a week...

See ya!

Date with Maria and BBQ with our House Church...

Last night my darling and I walked street up and street down in Stockholm city... Casting vision for the church's development, new premises and just giggled and laughed about all and nothing like couples should that have been together 20 years ;). Maria is sooo much fun and her dimples still drive me totally crazy... We had been given a hotel night from a wonderful church member, and she babysat our kids as well...

We arrived at hotel "Sven Vintapparen" at 1:15 AM, a hotel built 1607, and ate a late breakfast today... Such a cozy "love nest" and not a straight angle anywhere :). Maria have been shopping now and we are on our way home, but are stuck on the Metro in Älvsjö bacause of some kind of electricity fault... Our house church, our best friends that is, are coming over to BBQ tonight. It's a wonderful mix of seekers and new believers... Life is great! Celebration tomorrow again - huge hallelujah for that! I love Sundays!

See ya soon!

Pastor Peo Svensson

Yesterday I met with the leadership team in SOS Church for prayer and Bible Study. Pastor Peo Svensson from the church Guds Kraft in Sävsjö, Sweden, came and taught and ministered to us... We wept, laughed, enjoyed ourselves and sucked in the Holy Spirit through Scripture, prophetic clarity and simply Peo's strong inner life... We needed it! I needed it! Peo's life experience, humor and broad south Swedish accent was a wonderful combination! Thank you from SOS Church to Pastor Peo and the church Guds Kraft!

Today large parts of northern Europe celebrate Walpurgis Night, light spring fires, shoot off fireworks and sing songs about the light. An old cult tradition that was Christened during the 8th century and was transformed into a celebration of light against witchcraft and evil spirits, all in the name of “the holy Walpurgis”... well, well... Swedes party, many youth have their sexual debut tonight and SOS Youth will be out evangelizing downtown...

Will I see you on Sunday afternoon at 4pm on Kungsholmen?

See ya!
