One Time a Missionary, Always a Missionary!

A packed Easter week is moving forward – teaching at the Bible College Tuesday – Wednesday, prayer, Bible Studies, meeting with the church leadership last night.. Tomorrow I fly to Sölvesbord, Sweden, for a quick visit to Folkkyrkan Sölvesborg and my friend Pastor Tommy Lilja. On Saturday I will preach in three services at Finska Filadelfia's Easter Conference Revolution Stockholm and then I finish of the week by exploding at SOS Church on Sunday at 4pm!

I have time to meet some of Stockholm's seekers in between my pastoral duties... A winning lifestyle works according to the same principles in whatever country, culture or field you choose!

1) Daily intimate prayer and eager Bible meditation...
2) Continuous relationship building and fellowship with seekers and new believers – baptismal talks, baptism in the Holy Spirit and miracles...
3) A healthy life – regular dates with your wife and intense work outs at the gym...

Missionary in Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Thailand, India or Sweden – It doesn't matter since Jesus and the principles of discipleship training are unchangeable and the same... Missionaries: Don't lay down your weapons just because you happen to be on Scandinavian soil... Continue to share about Jesus on the metro, at work and the gym! Win, live and baptize!

Vikings are Created!

Adam had his first outdoor soccer practise a few weeks ago. I realized that night how tough many Scandinavian kids are, real vikings! Even though the temperature showed 20 degrees F no one even though about cancelling the practise. The heated artificial grass field shone green, but around were 6-9 feet high walls of snow. Maria and I and some of the other parents stood shivering around the field for a while, but then took refuge in the warm cozy club-cabin. The kids practised, impressively 1,5 hours before they went home sweaty and with very rosy cheeks.

Tough guys!

I Love Sundays!

Today was such a great day at SOS church! Wild worship, the smoke machine going and total party atmosphere with Walter Zuniga as MC! 2 were saved, 7 baptized in the Holy Spirit, 2 signed up for baptism in water and 3 new members were welcomed! About 10 new people want to join the church after this weekend - people stayed until 9 pm for coffee and just to hang out afterwards... I'm sitting at the Metro now on my way home to Tullinge, overjoyed while blogging!

Tomorrow's my day off
and I have a date with my wife Maria :).

Weekend with the Church - Loving it!

Yesterday I held a seminar for about 90 people about Marriage and Family - newly saved, seekers, singels, single parents and "old couples" ;). Pizza-lunch with questions and answers about everything from the master-bed to raising children and getting married a second time... What a day! Now we are charging our batteries for this afternoon's celebration, believe in a full house, lots of excitement but mostly God's miracle working power!

Last night I played chess with Walter and watched Dumb and Dumber 2 with the kids - we saw Dumb and Dumber 1 on Friday... SOS Church Stockholm - I love you!

I am teaching both the Mission Bible College and the School of Leadership Tuesday – Thursday on the Gifts of the Spirit... Counseling sessions, lunch meetings and dates with new believers and seeker friends in the afternoons... I am simply trying to live out Jesus' Great Commission by winning and discipling people in Stockholm...

Mission Practice in Uganda...

Mission Practice in Ethiopia...

Apply here! Aren't you going to attend next year?

Besides that, I am preparing for the Marriage Seminar on Saturday from 10 – 2 and Sunday Celebration – I am so looking forward to preaching and exploding at home!

My sermon title for Sunday will be something in line with The Ultimate Showdown or Who's the Strongest?! As a church we will challenge the New Age culture of this city in our spring sermon series called Situation Stockholm... Welcome to an exciting weekend at SOS Church

Great Evening in Uppsala...

Last night a team from SOS Church visited Furuhöjd Church outside Uppsala - 13 people went! Great service! Carlos Recinos and Katarina Santos were interviewed by Walter Zuniga and told the story of their salvation and Linnea Hagenfors sang heaven down! I preached and 7 people were saved and about 10 baptized in the Holy Spirit! We sold books, cd's and advertised our Bible School!

The Church in My Heart

Home again. Took my Maria on a date last night - Ehiopian Restaurant) and then a movie... We broke a three day fast for the festival in Tanzania with a huge dinner - don't know how healthy that really is, but it was good ;). Today is filled with pastoral duties - counselling, planning, taking care of paper work, but also coffee with seeker friends this afternoon... Loving the thought that we are baptizing this Sunday again at SOS Church... Loving the fact that I'll meet the church again - lots of hugs and it will be great to meet everyone! I'm the MC this Sunday and our Fine Arts Pastor Julia Willkander will preach! Come see us at 4 pm at Warfvinges Väg 26 on Kungsholmen for Sunday celebration! We'll have several surprises and news and if SOS Church is your home, you don't want to miss this!

At last, here are some tips to a stronger Christian life;

1) Worship Jesus alot and spontaneously! Worship in the car, at the kitchen table with your family, in the sofa with friends etc... Worship Jesus to the guitarr beacuse you love and are crazy about Him... Nothing in particular to pray for, no frustrated whining prayers, just pure praise to God... Worship makes you strong and you'll be filled with the Spirit of God!

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Ps 100:2

2) Prophecy! Speak words inspired by the Holy Spirit to yourself, over your family and to your friends! Pray until you see and pray and speak prophetically!

The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Prov 18:21

Worship and prophetic words charges us as Christians and makes our life together with other Christians strong and explosive! Worship a lot together with your newly saved friends and prophecy over them - they need that!

Expansion 2020

I have loved being together with the pastors at the Norwegian Covenant Church - have had three Bible studies today so far and will soon speak at an evening service... Their worship and prayer is so devoted to Jesus and fresh and they have a strong hunger for the prophetic! Mature people of God who ask relevant questions and are so warm and good at showing their appriciation at the coffee breaks...

They have just, as denomination, taken on and proclaimed a common vision called Expansion 2020, which means that their goal is to plant 20 new churches before 2020 and double the number of active members in their denomination! So good! Impressive!

Tomorrow morning I head out at 7 am with my rental towards Gardemoen Airport in Oslo again. Leaving Geilo and the mountains and wonderful new siblings to catch my flight home to Stockholm at 12:30... Gos is good and I love my job!

Will be at SOS Church this Sunday - I'm dying to meet the church again!

See ya!

Pastor Seminar in Norway

I've been home in Stockholm 24 hours, had time to sleep in, work out and lost in cards against my son Adam and wife Maria...

I'm on my way to Norway now for a short stop in Geilo where I'll teach pastors in the Norwegian Covenant Church - fun!

Fondue, Horse and Deer Steak!

Yesterday I preached at two churches; Eglise Evangelique in the morning and Lausanne Gospel Center at night! About 10-15 people were saved in each service, percious Swiss people saved for heaven! My host, Jean-Luc Trachsel is a true Apostle who oversees four churches and arranges several huge conferences every year i both France and Switzerland... He is a nondenominational man who has actually succeded to cooperate with Catholics, Protestants and almost all existing denominations in Switzerland without compromising the full gospel; that is, preaching salvation very radically, baptism in water, baptism in the Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues, healing and exorcism... I always learn so much when I'm around Jean-Luc!

At the same time he and his wife have a large company that sell make up and work with manicure :). Fun, fresh, open, happy and Jesus-crazy people that I pray God will use for Central Europe's salvation! We are of course eating cheese fondue, horse and deer... Jean-Luc is from Southern Europe just like me and we relax together, eating good and laughing until late night... Thank you Jesus for a good friend since many years! I hope that we'll have the honor of inviting him to SOS Church Stockholm some time soon!

See ya!

Oron la Ville

Yesterday I taught two 45 minute sessions at the Healing Institute here in Oron la Ville, where the church "Eglise Evangelique" is located, and 250 students eagerly responded... I've met many new, exciting teachers today, Doctors, Theologians etc... All denominations gather around two fundamental truths here; Jesus saves and heals.

Preached for a full auditorium last night, about 500 people gathered and 50 of them responed to the salvation invitation, demons came out with shrieks, sweat and manifestations... Many testified of physical healings in their body - so great! The gospel. Jesus-stuff. There is nothing like a sweaty miracle service! Afterwards we celebrated by eating horse - a Swiss specialty, wonderful!

Beautiful Delémont in the Alps of Switzerland

Beautiful Delémont...

Travelled by car last night from Lyon to Lausanne in Switzerland. Slept in a wonderful guest apartment and then went on by train through this magnificent land to Delémont in the morning... Had a polite conversation with a lady almost the entire way - everyone speaks to everyone here and I am enoying being almost at home ;). Preached at Jura Gospel Center tonight and a little more than 10 responded to the salvation invitation and several were healed. Wonderful people here in this little alp town with about 12,000 inhabitants. I go back and forth between English and German all the time here - Delémont is only about 6 miles from the German speaking part of Switzerland. I am preaching in English and interpreted to French otherwise... I am in the middle of the "clock-belt"...

I am spending the night at a family that sell bridal dresses, and I am actually spleeping in the store, surrounded by bridal dresses - "angels" are watching over me tonight :). Tomorrow I'll travel to Oron la Ville to have Bible studies and a healing service in the evening at a healing conference... Thank You Jesus that I get to enjoy life in Switzerland this weekend!

See ya soon!

The Holy Trinity Church

Yes. As you understand from the title I will visit a Catholic church tonight... I just arrived to Lyon, France and will preach at a healing service in just a little while... People hungry for miracles are already in line and the anticipation is high... They have given me total freedom to preach whatever I want and follow the Holy Spirit. They've actually asked me to make a radical salvation invitation and I have to pray for the sick :)!

Exciting! A totally new context for me - hopefully new open doors ;). We'll see after mass... I am full of expentancy and VERY excited... I have received a word from heaven and only want to follow and obey Jesus now... Pray for me...

About 5 hours later... Prayed for miracle hungry Frenchmen until 11:45 PM... About 40 precious Lyon citizens responded to the salvation invitation and was hugged by Jesus tonight! Many testifyed of physical miracles, a deaf ear was opened and bad hearing became perfect etc etc - hallelujah for a long sweaty healing service in a Catholic cathedral that was more charismatic and more wild than most Pentecostal churches in Sweden ;). Exciting!

See ya soon again!

At Home in the Kitchen in Tullinge - Stockholm...

We landed after a flight from Pittsburgh via Paris to Stockholm and are now sitting tired, but happy in my kitchen in Tullinge... Wonderful Marianne Drevon picked us up at Arlanda International Airport. Linda Zuniga had both cleaned the house and made lunch for us when we came home - what people the Zunigas are to live with :). Mattias Edlund had fixed our car that had a short visit at the car-repair garage while we were away... The church have advanced and grown with more newly saved, new people to be baptized, and last but not least - SOS Youth has had a great start with a mini youth camp this past weekend! What coworkers! What a family and church!

Right now I'm playing chess with Walter... Walter is a good player and is teaching me this no 1 strategy game :). We'll hit the gym tonight too for a workout to get this jetlag under control for the leadership gathering at SOS Church Stockholm tomorrow night.

It's good to be home again...

See ya!

The US - a Wonderful Oasis

I preached three services this Sunday and recorded some TV at Freedom Valley, Gettysburg PA. About 45 people responded to the salvation invitations and about 30 were baptized in the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues this wonderful Sunday! I have prayed with approximately 190 people to salvation, about 65 to the baptism in the Holy Spirit in total, and there have been sooo many healings during our little "US tour." Sunday night we baptized 29 newly saved! I have visited six of our Partner Churches this time, and we have sold a lot of my books and our Festival CD... More doors are opening all the time and with these allies we can reach more unreached people groups, do more festivals and plant more churches and Bible schools! Until the last people group has heard!

The US is a wonderful oasis for SOS, just like Norway and Finland - thank You Jesus!

Yesterday I flew home for a short stay in wonderful Stockholm, I'll meet with my leaders in SOS Church Wednesday night - oh, how I am longing to see my faithful team now...

Thursday night I preach in France and then the rest of the weekend in the French speaking part och Switzerland - fun!

Ps: This weekend five people were saved and five baptized in the Spirit home in Stockholm - hallelujah!

See ya!

Miracle Stories

Last night I preached the first service at my dear friends, the Stoltzfoos family and the mother church Freedom Valley Worship Center... About 35 people responded to the salvation invitation and many testified of immidiate physical healings that took place when I prayed the "miracle prayer" - the gospel really is a message of joy and the best message in the world! Pastor Gerry and their wild gang have already planted about 20 churches out of Freedom Valley, and they are storming forward aggressively - I learn so much from them... They are super generous and totally free from fear... If any of their coworkers want to start a new church they always say: "take as many mature members as possible with you from the mother church!" Zero greediness or suspicion, just joy and a childish belief in God that those who give most will receive most! The disciples belong to Jesus and pastors are shepherds that lead and love His sheep... American ways? No, I do believe it's called the kingdom of God...

Last night I herd sooo many miracle stories as I was signing my books... One story after another about mircles that took place when we preached in Gettysburg last summer! Tumours had dissapeared and could not be seen on the x-rays anymore, alcoholism and drug abstinence that had let go of its demonic grip, baptisms in the Spirit and families that had been restored! Yes, there was no end to all the Jesus-mircles from last summer! People from New Jersey came and testfied of all the mircales that Jesus had done after SOS' visit at their church etc... I went to bed overwhelmed, full of mircle stories... I am preaching three times today and will record a little TV as well... Life is best right now and Jesus is sooo close...

See ya!

From Pittsburgh to Gettysburg

Last night I was a part of a historical event when Pastor Russ and Jamie Horne, Sharpsburg Family Worship Center inaugurated their new church facility that was built at the beginning of 1860... This church was once the spritual home of the famous Heinz family (founder of Heinz ketchup). About 20,000 square feet with a school building attached to the church that they purchased cash for incredible $150,000! A miracle with church tower, bell, sanctuary and the entire Lutheran package! They are now in the process of remodeling, putting a modern touch to it, mixing old and new in a tasteful way! A historical, prophetic night when about 350 people filled the santuary with worship, it was a huge privilege to preach, an honor, and I enjoyed it... Allison Park Church planted the church in Sharpsburg ten years ago and it will now go from a medium sized church to a big one! Thank you Jesus that I could be a part of last night! Thank you Jesus for those that were saved and healed!

Pastor Russ and I praying at the end of the service...

I am now in historical Gettysburg with my friends Gerry and Julie Stoltzfoos, I have preached tonight and will speak at three services tomorrow at Freedom Valley Worship Center!

See ya!

Deep Sea Fishing

Yes! SOS is deep sea fishing in Stockholm city and among the unreached people groups of the world... To fish in different churches is kinda like fishing at home in the bath tub, or maybe at the local swimming pool at best... The fish you catch in a church has almost always been caught by someone else before, and it's almost as boring as fishing in a put and take lake...

In the fifth chapter of the gospel of Luke and the first eleven verses, Jesus challenges Peter to go deep sea fishing... Peter catches so much fish that the net are about to burst and he has to give half of it away so that his boat won't sink...

Deep sea fishing is our destiny! Lots of fich our motto! Generosity our DNA!

I'm looking forward to our festivals in Nepal and Tanzania this spring! Looking forward to a months deep sea fishing in Stockholm before then!

This weekend I preach five services in Pittsburgh and Gettysburg, it will great!

SOS Youth is Born this Weekend

By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

Hebrews 11:20

Old Isaac is mentioned in the eleventh chapter of book of Hebrews, ie the faith chapter, and is counted as one of the heroes of faith because he blesses the next generation and their future... SOS also wants to bless and believe in the next generation and their future! The next generation will become pioneers, missionaries, and church planters!

This weekend we launch our youth ministry! We hope and pray that they will soon take over the entire premesis on Kungsholmen and turn it in to a youth facility ;). We believe in the youth! We will let SOS Youth reach at least 100 before handing over the facilities to them! GO go Kvist and Santos! Let us pray for the kick-off weekend!

We pray that:

- Youth will have strong and holy salvation experiences!
- Youth will be baptized in Holy Spirit and Fire and begin speaking in tongues!
- Youth will decide to be baptized in water!
- No one will feel like an outsider and that the SOS Youth will be a tight nit group from the start!
- Missionary callings will be born!

Teaching and Spending Time with My Family...

I'm teaching Ever Increasing Faith at MCM Ministry School in Pittsburgh (SOS US Branch Campus) Tuesday - Friday this week... Leading prayer school, getting paper work done and having lunch with pastor friends..

I'm enjoying serving in the Kingdom of God, this is actually my 19th year as a preacher, preached my first sermon the summer of 1991... In June 1991 I started as a full time minister, the years fly by... I am full of energy and very hungry for what the future holds... I have learned a lot these last couple of years and know what to focus on the next coming 10 years... I don't want to drain myself on the wrong things... I believe I've matured both as spiritual leader and as a person... Thank you God that You never give up on us, but continue to work on us all the time... You become broken in a good way as the years pass. I love God more, I need my wife and kids in a deeper way and I appriciate and recognize faithful friends and coworkers and do not take anyone's loyalty and friendship for granted any more... I guess you become a little scarred and threadbare, not bitter but instead deeply grateful for everything that God has done and do, despite all our faults and shortcomings...

I went to the movies with my kids yesterday afternoon and my beloved Maria and I have had many looong conversations the last couple of days. We have cried a lot, hugged and found peace in God together... Maria is the most precious on this earth...

God is good!

A Thousand Reflections on a Monday Off...

I preached at at Juan and Diedre Rivera's church New Life AoG in Youngstown Sunday morning - so much fun! It's a young, strong and vibrant church - many responded to the salvation invitation and we released an army of Evangelists at the end of the service! Juan's church will explode in aggressive growth! They are standing with us in unreached peoples mission as one of our newest Network Churches in the US and are supporting our work both in Ethiopia and Bulgaria...

Sunday night I had a leadership seminar with all the MCM pastors (Jeff and Melodie Leake's network) in Sharpsburg and spoke on The Calling. Your calling is the holiest thing in our lives after salvation and what keeps us running year after year, motivated and under constant "fire-rain" from heaven! God is shooting blessings over us from heaven since we are doing what He called us to do - just think about being called and backed up by God!

Yesterday (Monday) I heard that there were 17 teenagers registered to our Youth Kick Off weekend this week home in Stockholm - wow, what a jump start! SOS Youth will explode and become a great youth ministry that will touch the inner city of Stockholm fast! I really believe in our youth leaders and especially Anna and Jonatan as Youth Pastors! Great! Awesome! Breakthrough! We will continue to build upon our dream home in Stockholm city!

Peter and I have worked out, and the girls (Maria and Martina) have been shopping ;). Yes, life is good!

Ps. I passed this bird box yesterday and thought; the US is really a nation under God, even the birds have their own churches, then the Gospel have really had a impmact :).

See ya!
