VCC in Youngstown, Ohio

Last night I preached about The Laughing God and the Happy Jesus and about 20 people prayed a prayer of salvation together with me at the front - wonderful! I love Pastor David and Kathie's church! Such an openess for the Holy Spirit to work freely just as He wants... I'm enjoying all the wild and wonderful disciples of Jesus that come together at the Main Campus in Coitsville - Victory is growing all the time and they now have five daughter churches in the area, and they are all growing! Thank you Jesus for friends for life!

Greatest is the One Who Serves...

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

John 13:14

I have thought about this Bible verse during the days I've been here in the US and my thoughts go to one person in particular... Ann-Louise Karlsson - our "Lollan" - came home after 5 years on the mission field in Bulgaria and immidiately volontered to be responsible for cleaning at SOS Church... What an attitude, what a heart of a servant... You are such an example Ann-Louise - I wonder how God will use you in the future...

I Love Sundays!

Flew domestic with Delta Airlines from Orlando, via Atlanta to Pittsburgh yesterday afternoon... After a night in Allison Park Church's guest house and some oatmeal for breakfast I spent the day at our Mission SOS US office, sitting at a computer trying to catch up on administration stuff from the past week... Thought I might write a blog entry as well...

We have stolen a slogan from Hillsong Church in Sydney,, Australia and Pastor Brian Houston. In SOS Church Stockholm we say it among the leaders almost every week nowadays. The phrase is: “I love Sundays!” Here follows a list of why we love Sundays:

- Sunday is the day that Jesus rose from the grave...
- Sunday is the day we gather to celebrate and worship Jesus corporately...
- Sunday is the day when we are encouraged, edified, strengthened and fed through preaching and teaching from the Bible...
- Sunday is the day when we worship, praise, love, and exalt Jesus together with anointed musicians and singers...
- Sunday is the day when we give of our finances to the Kingdom of God and become even richer...
- Sunday is the day when we pray corporately as a church and together shake in the spiritual realm...
- Sunday is the day when we hear from heaven through specific words, revelations, and prophec...
- Sunday is the day when we pray corporately as a church and together shake in the spiritual realm...
- Sunday is the day when we hear from heaven through specific words, revelations, and prophecies...
- Sunday is the day when we baptize new believers to Christ, bury old demon houses and new Temples of the Spirit...
- Sunday is the day when we see healing miracles and hear about answers to prayer from the adventure week that just ended...
- Sunday is the day when we laugh, are surprised and enjoy life together...
- Sunday is the day when we meet our best friends to hang out and for deep fellowship...
- Sunday is the day we are together with a complete family and all generations...
- Sunday is the day when we meet with different nationalities and experience exciting cultural exchanges....
- Sunday is the day when we cry together and carry each others burdens...
- Sunday is the day when we vision together for the future!

And so much more... Sunday is the best day of the week! I love Sundays! Don't want to miss a Sunday in the house of God!

The American South

Peter and I are enjoying the warmth, hospitality and the amtosphere here in the American South... I preached Saturday night and many testified with tears streaming down their faces of immidiate healings from stage!

Yesterday we had a packed out Markham Woods, the audience was cheering me on in shouts and claps while I was preaching - it's so much fun to preach in Florida! Many responded to the salvation invitations both on Saturday and Sunday and I am talking to overjoyed families when I sign my books after the services... We sell a lot of my books here in the US, but also SOS music production; God of Miracles...

I've even had time to go to the movies; Book of Eli - great movie with Denzel Washington starring...

Today I fly up to Pittsburgh!

The Gospel's ABC

Finished the first round of three in the match Markham Woods Church last night...

Wow! The Rap artists 3MA started with the song We are More than Comquerors and about 200 wild teenagers went bananas at the front of the church! Everyone over 40 was sitting, but everyone else between 20-40 stood up and swayed along... I stood up, tried to keep the rytm in both body and clapping ;). I preached Jesus and The Power of Forgiveness and a little over 40 responded to the salvation invitation (45 decision cards were filled out) and then we prayed with teenagers to baptism in the Holy Spirit and about 35 started speaking in tongues!

It was a long sweaty time of prayer - there's nothing like the Gospel's ABC! I am sooo enjoying this!

Peter and I ended the evening in great fellowship with three Youth Pastors at Chilis. On Amritzer's menu; ribeye steak, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes with pepper gravy... Life just cant be any better since success specifically is spelled; salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit and steak with good friends!

We will soon enter the second round - reports will follow!

Ps. Just got a text message from home that we will baptize tomorrow and the next Sunday as well in SOS Church Stockholm! God is good!

See ya!

Prayer, Prayer, Prayer and some Training

Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
1 Cor 9:26-27

I've had time for private and deep Bible studies the last two days... Ron and Sandy Johnson are in Virginia for a wedding - their oldest son Jordan is getting married to his Jennifer - Peter and I have the entire house to ourselves... So there's a lot of time for the gym, the pool but mostly time for prayer, prayer and more prayer... I love being alone, spending time with only the Holy Spirit... Praying for SOS Church Stockholm and our daughter churches. Praying for future festivals, mission bases and more Bible Schools and missionaries...

I believe that there are three things that are most important for strong Apostolic churches:

1) The vision in singular - a common overbridging and very clear vision for all the departments in the church...

2) A strong leadership team - no secrets, best friends and mutual respect and genuine real love...

3) Focus on winning people for Jesus and discipleship training - The Great Commandment in the center both locally and globally...

I'll soon preach salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit at Markham Woods Church now... Wonderful! Reports will follow...

See ya!

The Missionary and the Restoration of the Early Church!

I am taking a day of prayer and Bible study today at my mentor and spiritual dad Ron Johnson's home, in his and Sandy's new house in Orlando, FL... I am contemplating the mission and praying for SOS Church Stockholm and all out daughter churches...

Are you a missionary or a mission field? is a phrase that we use a lot in SOS... Every disciple of Jesus shares the same basic calling, Jesus Great Commission. We are called to all peoples (Matt 24:14, 28:19). Who has not had a chance to hear yet? Mission is not when we preach outside our borders but instead when we preach and make disciples where the gospel has never been preached (Rom 15:20)... Unreached peoples mission – what a beautiful concept!

Missionary, apostle, pioneer, or church planter are all words that describe the trail blazing ministry that we run with in SOS. We are so often misunderstood, humiliated, and degraded, yet we continue week after week, year after year... We continue to run with the holy calling from Jesus:

“The unreached peoples, the restoration of the early church in both life, pulse, as well as finally also geographically”...

When I was 19 years old the Holy Spirit called and spoke so clearly through dreams, visions, and strong prophetical confirmation. Maria and I, together with our faithful warriors still have the same vision, style and mission and we are not weary of it... Until the last people group has heard!

What is the Apostolic? I often receive this question... Why is this radical word so important? The answer would need to be summarized in several books... Here are some Biblical truths:

1) The pioneer that does not want to build on some one else's foundation. Rom 15:20
2)The expert builder that lays the foundation. 1 Cor 3:10-15
3) The steward of God's secrets (revelations). 1 Cor 4:1
4) Fools for Christ. 1 Cor 4:9-10
5) Fathers. 1 Cor 4:15
6) Free agents. 1 Cor 9:1-2
7) Slave to all. 1 Cor 9:19
8) An example to others. 1 Cor 11:1

But also a runner, worker, boxer, soldier, and a spectacle before both angels and men, all according to the Apostle Paul... Yes the calling is indeed a wonderful pain ;).

See ya!

Victory@Sarasota

Brian Gibbs and I...

The most beautiful beaches in Florida - the Lido and Siesta beaches, pure white beaches and palmtrees everywhere - this is such a vacation paradise in every way... Of course we have eaten Mexican and Carribean food and walked at Lido Keys...

Last night we had a Holy Ghost blowout service at Victory@Sarasota, Pastor Brian and Bren Gibbs church... Brian and I are exactly the same age and we have enjoyed spending some time together - he's a great guy, looks like a rockstar and is a real "Holy Ghost man..." SOS and I have a new friend for life!

We are back in Orlando now...This weekend I preach at Markham Woods AoG, Friday - Sunday! Markham is the first church that daddy Ron Johnson started at the beginning of the 80'ies. Ron and Sandy are now back and the church is growing agessively again! The work of the Holy spirit is sooo awesome and exciting!

Giggely Japanese Youths...

I flew from Arlanda Int Airport with KLM to Amsterdam and then on to Detroit, MI. From Detroit with Delta and finally I reached my destination for this coming week; Orlando, Florida... My domestic flight was fun because I sat next to two giggely Japanese youths that were in America on a language trip... They laughed hysterically at all my jokes, even though they didn't understand half of them... I know that I am not that funny really, but the entire situation was funny in a way. They laughed at all my attempts to tell jokes and didn't understandf half of them, and I laughed because they were so wonderfully immature at 20 and 19 years of age...

Last night I had a great dinner with my mentor and Spiritual dad Ron Johnson and my Festival General since ten years Peter Almqvist... We had a wonderful night! Ron is sooo great and a big heart! We are staying at Ron and Sandy's new house now and woke up earaly this morning for prayer...

Ron and Sandy Johnson...

Tonight we are going to Sarasota and I am preaching at Victory @ Sarasota and Pastor Brian Gibbs... God is good!

People's Salvation!

...praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved..
Acts 2:47

Almost every day someone prays a salvation prayer in someone's home in our SOS family in Stockholm...

Today we have done maintanance and cleaned our church on Kungsholmen and 40 people came to work - I am very proud of the church, some were there for 12 hours...

Tomorrow we are baptizing three newly saved at our Celebration in SOS Church... We will pass 30 baptized - 31 to be exact - new precious diciples to Jesus that have buried their old lives since we started the pioneer work in Stockholm city about 10 months ago... Omid Dadary was the first one to be baptized in March last year...

It's staring to happen now... Things are finally beginning to be normal now... The family is growing and taking new steps! Tomorrow I'll declare war against loneliness and isolation in my message... I am truly happy and feel a deep satisfaction and the favor of the Holy Spirit...

See ya!

The Church, a Power Factor!

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matt 5:14

Jesus is building His Church in Stockholm city and we are just helping a little... He called. We listened and obeyed. We are walking on water and and it works. Jesus said that He would wait for us in the city and He really did, we meet Him there every week... The wonderful stream of the Holy Spirit is kind of under the floor, and in the midst of the Church there is a high preassure well where water erupts like the Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park... The Gates of Hades (principalities and powers) has no power over The Church of Jesus (Matthew 16:18). With Jesus we are always on the winning team and the devil doesn't have a chance!

The Apostle Paul said to his spiritual son Timothy;

If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great...
1 Tim 3:15-16a

1) God's Household = The Church is a family, the Family of God!
2) The Living God = The Church is living in the sense that God reveals Himself in and through the Church, by performing Signs, Wonders and works of power!
3) The Pillar and Foundation of Truth = The Church is always speaking the truth, and is steadfast however the opportune winds are blowing at the moment.
4) The mystery of Godliness = The Church confronts sin and exhorts to repentance, prayers of forgiveness!

Together with Jesus we are building a warm, loving family for all people in Stockholm. Jesus reveals Himself through signs, wonders and miracles through us in the city. We speak the truth to both demons and people. We confront sin, urge people to repentence and pray with people to salvation every week. We resist worldliness, shallowness and lust. We fast, pray and cast mountains in the sea. Resurrection- and revival Christianity is here to stay!

We will baptize in SOS church this Sunday again - welcome!

See ya!

The Warrior's Life Style

Woke up early... Not from an alarm clock but a text message from Sweden... I'm eating oatmeal, boring brown bread and drinking coffee... Reading 1 Timothy and will go over to the hotel gym soon... I'll train hard before I fly across half of the globe again - San Fransisco via Paris and then Stockholm... I'll try to have a lunch meeting before the plane leaves as well - great plans has to made to reach the unreached people groups :)!!

My family, the leadership team and the church is waiting at home , oh how I'm longing now... Looking forward to two lunches with newly saved friends in Stockholm this week - talking baptism again... Saturday we are having a day of work at church, (repairing and cleaning) and Sunday I preach at home again - YES! I'll be speaking and declaring war against loneliness and isolation in Stockholm and lift the Jesus-Church's so unique and strong fellowship and unity...

Life is really all about three things for me:

1) Prayer, Bible meditation and the closeness and listening to the Spirit of Jesus...
2) Fellowship with seekers and the constant discipling of new believers...
3) A sound family life and hard physical training...

Why discipline till and force the body to obedience as the Apostle Paul says? We have to be able to continue dream, preach and plunder hell for many more years, right?! The next 10 years are the best of my life, 2010-2020!

See ya!

The Mega Church!

I have preached three times at a Mega Church this weekend - Calvary Temple Worship Center, I am infected by the excellence, organization, professionalism and so much more... Their worship is totally raw, wild and so anointed that it simply results in falling completely in love with Jesus and just having to dance. They are 90 people in the worship team (a normal size church in Europe)... Just imagine 90 people filling the stage – singers and musicians! At the 11am service they counted 1,700 people, but then we had already had a service Saturday night with 1,100 and the 9am service gathered 1,500! They have youth services, prayer meetings and Bible Study classes with over 700 every week... The greatness, impact and power here is enormous! They honor each other in the team and the church has a high regard and respect for Ministers anointed by God. I am learning so much here …

I am infected by faith! That is why I write what I write now... We need a Mega Church in Stockholm! God give us a young, wild, evangelistic, worshiping, missions, delivering from demons, healing, and speaking in tongues Mega Church in Stockholm!
I will fly home to Stockholm tomorrow after a morning session at the gym here at the hotel... This evening has a meal with good friends and then off to the movies!

See ya!

28 People Baptized in Water in the City So Far!

I'm flying to San Fransisco via Paris today... Sitting at an IT-café blogging... Last night I received a text message from one of our House Church leaders, they had just baptized a newly saved in their bath tub! The Book of Acts right here in the city, true koinonia (fellowship of the first church) and baptism in a home a regular Thursday night - just as it should be! There are so many conversations about baptism going on in our House Churches right now, and so far we have baptized 28 people since the launch of the church! It's beginning to take off a little now, we are hoping for more speed and a real "baptism wave" and a real break through! We are baptizing way to few people - Stockholm need huge baptisms that are seen and heard of! Old lives and "demon houses" are buried and new life and creations come up from the baptismal tank! Revival atmosphere with physical healings, devoted worship and wild speaking in tongues needs to break forth in the capitol of Sweden! God, give us Stockholm! God, give us the unreached peoples!

Great Company at SOS Church!

I had prayer school this morning and have taught SOS Mission Bible College (first and second year) the last two days (Tuesday-Wednesday) - played at my home field in other words... Jeff Leake arrives at Arlanda Int Airport early tomorrow morning, and he starts teaching at our Bible School directly... We have great company in SOS Church this coming week :). Many of our own have had Jeff as their favorite preacher for a long time and others will have a great unforgettable experience. Pastor Jeff really is the Pastor of Pastors, a real super shepherd that beams so much love and warmth to all and everyone all the time.

I though, am flying to Modesto, California Friday morning to preach three services this weekend at Calvary Temple Worship Center (a great mega-church with about 8000 members). Calvary has been a Partner-Church to SOS for several years and I love their pastoral team and always learn sooo much when I visit them... I can't leave the church here at home at a better time than when Pastor Jeff is here, but my pastoral team will be here as well, and this partucular weekend everyone is home; Walter Zuniga, Daniel Elvelyck, Emma Gustafsson, Julia Willkander, Jonatan Kvist and Andreas Jensen. They will cover for me but also draw from Jeff's apostolic teaching on Leadership and The Church of the Living God!

Melodie and Jeff...

Saturday night we have All Nations Café - Latino party! Bring as many friends as you can for salsa dance and great food!

See ya!

In Love All Over Again

Yes! It's true ;). Yesterday I was at my favorite gym in Flempan with my Maria... To instruct your wife and then watch her work out and work out together as you're giving each other compliments and encouraging each other all the time - sparks of love will fly all around!
"What muscles you have honey!"
"Wow, that's a lot of repetitions you're doing on every set of exercise! So heavy weights? Wow!" Etc etc...
She's in the tanning bed for awhile and I continue to work out... We walk out to the car together and feel, yes... after 16 years of marriage and 19 years together: we're in love all over again. It's really that simple! Working out together is a hot tip for married couples ;).

Maria and I were "stand in" childrens pastors at SOS Kids this past Sunday! Maria was dressed up as the clown "Sprallis" and I was childrens pastor for a day... Sooo much fun! Then it happened again; "Love in the air" - my wife was just so cute and fun as clown!

We baptized four new believers into the Kingdom of God at the end of the service at SOS Church on Sunday - hallelujah! Yeah, I can't help but fall in love with our church and all our eager new disciples to Jesus as well! There's a lot of love right now...:).

See ya!
